As far as I'm concerned, that's the official name of Eren's titan. Every time a character says "Attack Titan", I'm like, "get it right! It's the SHREDDED!"

I like how in Junior High, Eren isn’t that hotheaded and aggressive as he is in the main series. I think this makes sense considering that his mom didn’t get eaten by a Titan in this universe lol

Nice! I JUST watched this series for the first time last week -- binged it all in two evenings -- so this timing is perfect for me 😁It actually doesn't follow the plot of the show very closely at all; it's mostly just inconsequential silly self-contained stories about the characters. But was it basically is is a parody of the show -- "taking the mickey", as Ange put it. What I loved about it was its constant ability of taking moments out of the real show/manga and repackaging them into very funny spoofs. I think this first episode was my least favorite, actually, or maybe I wasn't getting the vibe yet. I think it gets better and funnier as it goes along, as it gets comfortable being its own thing (while getting less and less subtle about referencing secrets from S2 and even S3). Anyway, have fun with it!

I love the symbolism of AOT Junior High. The Colossal titan eating Eren's lunch is basically telling us that Carla is a snack

Not much references in the first episode - they will be later on, though :) Only hidden detail I can point to - Collosal Titan and Berthold were both present in the scenes. He was sitting just behind Conny in the classroom :)

I'm so glad you're reacting to this! Since this was released during the 4 year break between S1 and S2 so any references to Reiner and Betroloto being titans would've been easter eggs for just Manga people. Btw I hope you guys react to My Hero Academia!!

Hi, first of all i'd like to say love the reaction and energy from the both of you. There is an anime i would love to see your reaction. Have heard of an anime called 86? its a anime with the main theme of war and racism i think. Although its in a semi mecha genre, but its not focus on big mecha fight like the gundam series. Its more focus on its story, insane character development and world building. There is a lot of foreshadowing and symbolism in this anime, not to mention the fantastic music. There are small fight here and there but it was short and straight to the point type and when there's a big fight, its a big epic fight. Its a roller coaster of emotion. It might be start alittle bit slow on the first 2 episode for the build up, but it pick up later in the season. Happy to see you react to it.
