I mean.. it's a reference to Armin saying that in season 1 of the actual show when Jean was being his body-double, so if anything, _that_ was the foreshadowing. Even then, I think that was still more of a joke, whereas the actual foreshadowing was Eren literally saying "I'll destroy the entire world!" when he was fighting Annie.

I think bert stole eren's cheese burger in ep 1 because he wants to give it to annie

Bert's been here the whole time, lol. He's a bit nondescript as a person. But if I remember the early episodes correctly, the animators tended to hide him behind Reiner or someone/something else a lot, as an in-joke. PS: Levi wouldn't be a part of the Wall-Cleaning Club, because that's a different club. Wall-Cleaning Club = Garrison (hence Hannes as the advisor ... I suppose Pyxis's voice actor wasn't available).

This is all we really get in the anime with the love triangle, but in the manga, one of the main plots is Annie trying to go on dates with Eren and Mikasa constantly getting in the way, lol. Also, this is probably my favorite episode of the show. Mikasa in depression mode, Connie being dumb as ever, and Eren being beaten to a pulp because Mikasa won't let him die in the game.

You can tell by the reaction of Ange he doesn't like this version of Eren😂

You guys mentioning Haikyuu made me jump from my seat! I'm so excited to see that series on this channel! ❤️

Idk if the animators took this into account, but there used to be a huge fandom for Eren x Annie in the earlier seasons, especially when Mikasa asked of he had “special feelings” for her that stops him from transforming in Stohess. I can’t exactly remember if the manga ever confirmed if the romantic implications were real? Around that time Armin x Annie ship also became a thing because she spared him multiple times during the survey corps mission outside the walls...Anyway, you can’t say you’ve lived through SnK without having gone through the shipping war experience!

MAPPA split up part 3 into 2 cours. I heard it was confirmed that s4 part 3 (part 1/cour 1) will be broadcast as a 1 hour special. So its going to be like.. 3 episodes within that hour or so I heard. and then maybe cour 2 will be another 1 hour special(?) or maybe it's in episodes, but nothing has been confirmed for cour 2 yet. But yea, we're most likely going to have 2 long episodes just like what Ange said.

yup its split up into 2 cours. First one is coming out on 3rd March and it's a 1 hour special. The other one will be coming sometime this year.

10:16 Pretty sure that’s more of a reference to how shipping Annie with Eren was pretty popular in the AOT fandom at the time season 1 premiered. I’m guessing it had to do with Eren & Annie’s interactions in that season being more memorable in the fandom compared to her with Armin. Resulting in a decent amount of the fandom having a hard time getting the Armin✖️Annie ship in the final season.

It’s not considered a filler. It’s a lighter take on the show loaded with references to the anime. I would consider this more of fan service.
