After Rodney Dangerfield died, there was a void in comedy. And even though the industry tried to suppress the “no respect/ laugh at yourself” style; Mr. Joey Diaz still managed to work/maneuver through the roadblock and express is craft to the world audience! All in spite of the head honchos who tried to subdue his bravado style of comedy! Kudos to Joey Diaz for his perseverance.

Humor is a powerful thing. It can be easy to not realize how sad this story actually is

And yet it's so true. It's why many of us do. It's our crutch. Life has been fucking tough and yet I'm so lucky. Instead of complaining, I rather smoke, enjoy it, calms me down, helps with various things and I get to move on with life. It helps me confront my emotions and deal with them. As a guy who grew up being told to stop being a pussy, everything is gay, don't be weak, never cry, all this absolute garbage. So weed helps. Lost nearly everyone in my family. Most of them dead in recent years. All happened one after another. But here we are fighting still. Thank God for Joey checking in on us during the pandemic or else I would've been long gone.
