SO many networks and studios and tv execs still think there's a very small amount of female material that is "marketable". It's their fault we don't get to see the really funny chicks. We always end up seeing the one's talking about being a mom and how awful guys are and all that fucking schlock. Edit: ALSO definitely a whole lot of bad female comics out there in the local level too. Going for clapter. But man... I've seen at least a dozen female comics at $5 or free shows in SF that were 10X better than half the comics I've seen make it on the Tonight Show or Late Show. Executives only show what they think they can really sell.

@@gabelogan56 there's no real gatekeepers anymore, if you're great you can make your own way off youtube, podcasts or whatever. Times that tv execs dictated what comedy we got to see are long gone.
