I feel like slow zombies are less scary because they're less likely to get you, but more scary because if they do get you it's a slower death.
My favorite part was when you tilted your head and looked up, as if to prove you aren't a dog. Also, when you snort laughed.
Please react to + Edgar Wright 🔥 ★ *Hot Fuzz* (2007) _Simon Pegg & Nick Frost_ ★ *Scott Pilgrim vs. the World* (2010) _Michael Cera , Brie Larson & Chris Evans_ ★ *Paul* (2011) _Simon Pegg , Nick Frost & Seth Rogen (as Paul)_ BONUS TRACK (amazing edit style) 🔥 *Kung Fu Hustle* (2004) 🔥 *Shaolin Soccer* (2001) 🔥 *CJ7* (2008) _Directed and staring by _*_Stephen Chow_* *_solution to c0piright issues_* _IMAGE EDITION :_ - Edit the movie with partial % of transparency (and/or text) - Flip the movie scene from Right to Left. - Keep your reaction on full screen (If the scenes of the movie take up less space on the screen and are edited, they can avoid the 4lg0rithm much easier) _AUDIO EDITION :_ - Put the volume of the movie lower than the volume of your microphone(not too low). (Statics, White noise & your comments , make little distortion to the audio) - Record the audio of your reaction separately from the audio of the movie, that way you can mute/edit the audio/image of the movie without muting/editing the audio/image of your reaction.

Also The World's End is a must. Ends the trilogy beautifully and doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
Watch Warm Bodies. THAT will then be your fave zombie movie, by far.
I agree with the zombie movies mentioned like Zombieland, Train to Busan, and others. If you speak Spanish, or don't mind subtitles, Juan of the Dead is fun.
"[about Ed] He's not my boyfriend!" "[handing beer to Shaun] It might be a bit warm, the cooler's off." "Thanks, babe. [winks at Ed]" Fun Fact: George A. Romero, creator of the movies to which this movie pays homage and lampoons, was so impressed with Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright's work that he asked them to cameo in Land Of The Dead (2005) as zombies. Spaced Background Fact: Many of the zombie extras are fans of Spaced (1999), which also starred Simon Pegg and Nick Frost and was also directed by Edgar Wright. They were recruited through the Spaced Out fan website. All of the newsreaders and television presenters are real people portraying themselves. Multiverse Sequel Fact: Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright considered a sequel that would replace zombies with another monster, but decided against it, as they were pleased with this movie as a stand-alone product, and thought too many characters died to continue the story. The proposed title idea "From Dusk Till Shaun" did have an afterlife as a mocked up poster that can be seen in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse (2018).
Yay! The start of your Cornetto Trilogy journey, Aria! Enjoy! 😊

my favorite tiny detail i noticed after a few rewatches, edd is dealing drugs to shaun's employee at the store. it's there if you listen to the conversations.
george romero wrote and directed a trilogy of zombie flicks called "Night of the Living Dead" (1968), this is the classic grandaddy of all zombie films, "Dawn of the Dead" (1978) and "Day of the Dead" (1985). the last 2 are ok but the first one is GREAT! "from dusk til dawn" (1996) is a VAMPIRE film directed by robert rodriguez. but it starts as a crime film. "shaun of the dead" is my favorite zombie parody. better than "zombieland" (2009) but "zombieland" is pretty good too. another excellent zombie film is "28 days later" (2002). and its sequel "28 weeks later" (2007) might actually be better. the sequel has one of the most INTENSE opening scenes in movie history. a very underrated film. thanks for the video.
Train To Busan is prolly the greatest zombie film ever, and I absolutely love Dawn Of The Dead ( and the remake )
I somehow got it into my head that you had watched Hot Fuzz! You must watch it, it's one of the funniest films ever. 😂

Aria, you've got red on you. (ok pink I guess...lol) 🤣🤣
Nice to see you again beautiful 😍also but I hope you have Hot Fuzz on your list, it's next in the corneto trilogy 😊
The thing I found the funniest about your reaction was after it was said that dogs can't look up, you looked up. 😂

Welcome to the world of Edgar Wright. He’s a master at editing.
Shaun of the dead is a homage to horror the dead movies, like dawn, night, like the we're coming to get you Barbara is a line from the original NIGHT of the living dead, it is a homage not a parody, but it is also a zombie lore in its own right
Thanks Aria, that was fun! I like how you were wracking your brain to figure out what SOTD was a parody of after mentioning DOTD so many times😊. It was refreshing to see a reaction that appreciated all the subtle details (like the TV channels strung together making a sentence), the filming style and the humour in general. So many just don’t get it. 👍👍
Hope you'll react to Hot Fuzz and World End too!! The two other of the "Cornetto Trilogy" And maybe one day Zombieland? 😉

Great reaction! I agree with you, this is also my favorite zombie move of all time!
A great, funny homage to the zombie genre. The DVD has a fun subtitle track that points out all the easter eggs and nods to other zombie films.
LOL! Fun one, Aria! 😆 Yes, as many have said, you will love the other two of the cornetto trilogy, especially Hot Fizz. 😎 Thanks for sharing this one! Oh, and I think you'll get a kick out of "Phillip" in Love Actually and also About Time, have you seen those yet?
👍
If you want to see how Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, and Edgar Wright got started... check out the two season British comedy, "Spaced." It has a similar genre bending style to the Cornetto Trilogy. The girl Shaun keeps bumping into was Simon Pegg's costar on "Spaced."

Great show, and the "Rave" episode is an absolute Classic.
Shaun Of The Dead is a joy; I have a lot of fun watching it. However, the best part of the Cornetto Trilogy is the second, Hot Fuzz. You must watch that!
Aria C, this is such a fun movie. I really love the opening credits. I totally agree with you on how great the movie is shot and told with the transitions, and I absolutely adore Diane in this movie too. How Shaun is able to avoid death when he goes to the store is both incredible and hysterical. David's death is disgusting, however the special effects in that sequence is absolutely perfect. I totally understand why this is now your favorite zombie movie, it is great. Everyone is telling you to watch the rest of the Cornetto Trilogy, which is justified. I want to suggest that you check out George Romero's zombie films. In particular: Night of the Living Dead, and Dawn of the Dead. Please keep watching more comedies in the future. It's fun to hear you laugh and see you smile. ❤🙂
16:03 _One_ job, Ed! You had _one_ job!
12:29 "I hope, if there is _ever_ a zombie apocalypse, the zombies are _this_ slow." And keep track of your blunt objects. You'll need to be able to locate them in a hurry.
the group that meets shaun, they went onto make Yvonne of the dead a better funded movie (not really but i would hve loved to have seen it) shaun probably had a hangover as well. so that would mak you more oblivious
10:52 And _that'll_ mess with your head. 11:00 But not as much as _that_ will.
This movie pays homage to the Zombie films and in particular the original Dawn of the Dead (1978). The director of the original loved this movie. Shawn of the Dead opened with Sountrack music by Goblin from Dawn of the Dead. The scene where the zombies open up the guy's intestines is something George Romero was famous for in his zombie films. Romero's film were slow moving zombies as well. There are other homages, but you get my meaning.
I highly recommend checking out Zombieland next
I rather prefer no makeup but yours was incredibly good this reaction! 🙂
One of the greatest Horror-Comedies of all-time. Edgar Wright is a genius and Pegg & Frost are one of the finest comedy duos in Cinematic History. Cheers and Happy Hump Day. 🥃☮❤
15:52 Yeees! Literally what Philip IS 🤣 31:48 How safe is it to have humans around?
Yes, "Dawn of the Dead" ist a classic zombie-horror-movie, and the title "Shawn of the Dead" is a direct reference to that movie - though the story is not a direct reference to that movie in particular but to the whole zombie-genre in general.
From Dusk till Dawn is completely different genre. It is not so blatantly sarcastic but still funny. Please watch Desperado (Salma Hayek, Antonio Banderas, and Steve Buscemi) as it is far superior to Dusk till Dawn. Both are written, directed, and edited by Robert Rodriguez. A highly underrated filmaker. He has also done a few collaborations with Tarantino. There are so few reactions to Desperado. Can I be the only person who thinks its a classic and a great movie?
20:07 Cutest laugh
There are actually two Dawn Of The Dead movies. The first one from the 70's is one of the original zombie films. The remake is very watchable. They are both good, imo.
Great reaction Aria 👍Also I just realized if you think about it every father is a MOTHERF***ER😅
Dawn of the dead is one of the most famous and best zombie movies of all time. It was directed by George Remereo and well worth the watch.
I like the original Dawn of The Dead from 1978. I have not seen the remake. The original is sort of long but it is special. The gory bits are not all that realistic, but that is part of the charm.
27:54 Yeah. That's about how _I_ reacted to this part.

30:52 😄😄😄Yeah. That was about my reaction, too. It's like, "Seriously?"
Train to Busan is my favourite Z movie by far.
Shaun of the dead is a great film. It is a play on the original name Dawn of the Dead by the Godfather of zombie movies George A. Romero. Zack Snyder did a remake in 2004 which was actually pretty good with the difference that the zombies were not slow at all. Shaun of the Dead is the first of what is called 'The Cornetto trilogy' because in each we see a cornetto and in all 3 Simon Pegg (Shaun) and Nick Frost (Ed) are the leads. Apart from that they're not related and the actors are in completely different roles. But the 3 of them are a parody of sorts on a specific genre have some great action set pieces, are funny and have just an amazing editing. So you should watch the other two films, Hot Fuzz and The World's End.
Definitely continue with the Cornetto trilogy with 'Hot Fuzz' & 'The Worlds End'! 'Paul' is a fun movie also starring Simon Pegg & Nick Frost. I think you'd enjoy 'Baby Driver', too, which is directed by Edgar Wright
Great movie
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

If you watch a Dawn of the Dead, watch the 1978 first. Shaun of The Dead is a loose parody of that movie! It is also considered one of, if not THE, greatest zombie movies made.
Watched a few clips of this movie when I was 15! In my imagination, I remembered that I used to pretend that Shaun had a 6-year-old son named Alex, played by *Isaac Hempstead-Wright* who lost his mom from an illness and that's why he (Shaun) was dating Liz to have Alex have a mom again. During the more adventures, Alex makes 3 new friends that join the "Winchester" team such a 4-year-old girl named Jenny, played by *Elle Fanning* and 2 fantasy creatures that live in cardboard boxes 📦 called *boxtrolls* and their names were Fish and Shoe! Note: Yes, I am aware that those cast and characters are from a different movie, *The Boxtrolls (2014)* but just in some fun reason, I wanted to make an interesting crossover for this movie! 😂
Next stop: Hot Fuzz. I would also recommend my favorite: Nacho Libre with Jack Black
You should watch Zombieland my favourite zombie movie
If you like this you might like Warm Bodies and Anna and the Apocalypse
Even if he makes mistakes, I rather have a friend like Ed 😊 The guy's funny 😄

Fun reaction! Now, "Hot Fuzz"!🙏
yep dead ed in a shed
You should watch Zombieland. You will like it. IMO, it is better than this movie.
2:13 It's a curious fact about the London in this movie; a fact that, I'm inclined to infer, differentiates it from _actual_ London. Shaun keeps taking Liz to the Winchester. No where else. Why? Well, because going to another pub requires a reservation which requires foresight which he cannot seem to muster. A question that is never actually answered, in this movie, is why he can't just take her somewhere _else._ London is a major, metropolitan city. One thing that means is that the pubs are not exactly hard to find. Look around, a little.
You’ve got red on you..
Happy Pride Month👍
Excellent reaction by a very pretty woman. Thank you.
I would have just given this woman the boot and gone with her friend, she seems easier to live with.
