Well, into my 20s, I had only ever bought drugstore makeup. I worked in a highend salon in Greenwich, CT. Come to find out, some of my coworkers were making fun of me, behind my back, for not using high-end makeup. I honestly always loved all things beauty, but i dont come from money, and when i worked hard for my money, i didn't want to go broke for shit that gets used up and thrown out. Also, cvs was around the corner from my house. Sephora, who? I preferred to spend on skincare. Eventually, i ended up trying Tarte, Laura Mercier, etc. To this day, I still have a nice mixture of both high-end & drugstore. Nothing beats Marc Jacobs, MAC, but I still haven't tried NARS, but it will be one of these days. Im currently using lots of Victoria Beckham products. So good. I'm 34 and can appreciate high-end products, but i never dreamed id be made fun for using drugstore makeup. Why? Because i spend less and look just as good if not better? Will the Real Slim Shady please stand up?

I just read this and said outloud " OMG for real???!!!" Then had to explain to my hubby that Mallory is doing drugstore! I love it when picky influencers do drugstore, cause when they say it's good, I am running, not walking, to get it.

I tried the foundation, and it's a new favorite. I have combo/ oily skin, and it looks so good throughout the day. Just wanted to comment in case there are any others with combo/ oily skin watching.

That foundation looks amazing on you. I decluttered it because it did the opposite on me. I'm more combo leaning oily, though, with some surface dryness.

The bronzer and highlighter you used are both baked gelee products, which is rare for drugstore.

Hmm gonna have to try that highlighter. I did not know they did not have fragrance. I cannot stand fragrance either- my eyes constantly water!!! Even the tatcha dewy skin cream, oh so lovely but cry makes my eyes water and thus have a somewhat bloodshot look. Some fragrances are ok, but majority or not. Oh and that lip color is to die for on you. I am going to have to try it. I am sort of similar to you, I have hazel eyes, blonde hair. My skin is neutral leaning warm. So I am going to try that color!

Revlon has always had really good foundation. I used to love their longwear lipstick too…the double ended one. It was like one of the first longwear lipsticks out. I also hate perfume in makeup because I’m prone to migraines. I don’t know why companies think our face needs to smell like perfume. 🤷‍♀️
