Story goes that the shop owner loves retro vending machines. He started fixing them and filling them with nostalgic items. It's now a popular tourist stop.

It'd be strange but I wish we had this in America. Especially around work places when lunch is short or gas stations where you're the only one working and can't leave to do anything.

Japan is a country of contrast. The massive bustling cities, full of neon lights, shops and people everywhere. The peaceful countryside, full of nature, trees, waterfalls, birds, animals. For me, Japan seemed to have picture perfect vistas everywhere I went. Definitely worth a visit.

How about fresh markets filled with nothing but delicious food? Seriously, from my 5 star hotel I walked 30 feet to see street food by the mile. Even at 3am looking for late nite bites I stop in a 24 hour combini for ramen better than American restaurants can make. I miss Japan

It's on my Japan Bucket list, the Noodle ones atleast were built in the 60's and are the stuff of legend to the point they make Model kits of them and if you can ever see one working with the door open it's brilliant, it pours in hot water to heat them and then spins it out to evenly transfer the heat and then adds the broth.

I definitely need to come to this city when I go back to Japan next time, there’s just so many interesting places to go to in Japan

There’s probably hot air blowing inside the popcorn vending machine instead of an actual microwave..As for the ramen, i think the noodle might be cooked and dehydrated..So you’d just need to add hot water.

Fun fact: The burger lasts so long because it is actually frozen inside of the machine, not refrigerated.

the place has that "retro futuristic" look as in it is old and worn out but looks high tech at the same time.

The way she just sponsored the Sakurako by taking out from the empty vending machine🤣🤣 and confusing all of us at the same time was epic😘

Although some of the vending machines are clearly aged, I'm impressed that they are still kept up and stocked with the vintage-styled products.

America needs some of these its annoying going to a gas station to get the crappy food they sell for quick lunch or getting fast food that makes ya feel bad.

Man I wish we had cool vending machines like that everywhere. I mean it's cheap and convenient and it sounds fun. Only times I'm ever around vending machines are at the hospital or snack machines at university.

I love seeing the different kind of vending machines Japan has to offer and I’m low key jealous, I won’t lie.

That place looks awesome. It seems like a fun place to do a little food/random thing shopping. There's many vending machines to choose from with their own thing which is great. Also, for people who have trouble talking to other people, there's no sales person you need to talk to plus it's not needed if you know how to use a vending machine (I know it's easy to use those but for people like me who can't speak Japanese, figuring out what most of the buttons say would probably be the only issue).

I burst out laughing at the sponsorship,that was clever ! Also I'm using incognito mode so much that I forgot that I was logged in my account and almost forgot to give a like lol 😂
