His company HYBE just tweeted about this surprise special event from Jungkook. Did not even say where or what time. And just a few hours before the event. JK fans and ARMY just assumed it was in Time Square because 2 JK video ads where playing in TIME SQUARE and yet look at the crowd he pulled! Iconic! Global superstar! The new King of Pop! Definitely!!!

His presentation was something very unexpected, it was actually announced half an hour before the performance. If they had said it in advance, NY traffic would be catastrophic.

Jungkook is the 2nd artist ever to perform on Time Square’s TSX Stage after Post Malone performed last July. Mind you all those fans went to Times Square based on the billboard glass being cleaned without any official announcement or a single hint. His demand, his impact is insane. His vocals, his dancing, his stage presence is unparalleled. Btw X box, Calvin Klein, Hilton was the sponsor of this event. This was literally a historical night to remember for the MAIN POP BOY.

Can you believe ten of thouands of people gathered for a surprise event that officially announced just 30 minutes before the show? All started from an Army tweeted 5 hours before the show "Ey, why are people cleaning the Billboard?". Twitter went full on detective mode right away and without knowing whether it's true or not, they just made a bet and flooded Times Square. And they won, US ARMY were so lucky to witness a legendary performance in real time. I'm so proud to live in the same era of a legend in the making, JUNGKOOK, you are a MEGA GLOBAL POP STAR!!!

Jk is indeed a Global Popstar 😎 the huge crowd that he pull out only within 30 minutes announcement is really crazyyy

The fact that JK managed to bring in thousands of ppl when this was a surprise event. Crazy 😱 Also, everyone there knowing all the words to a week old album 🔥

Wish I was in New York!!!😭🥲 but I’m so proud of how far he, and BTS have come!!! It makes me emotional to think about it🥹💜 I first discovered them in 2017, and I never imagined something like this was achievable for an Asian group from Korea, to break all kind of records in the US!??😭 CAN’T TIL 2025 Apobangpo🫶💜

I love this so much!! Jungkook and his dance crew killed it and you can tell Jk is loving it so much 💜 the crowd really gave their everything and it was really loud af, we can hear them that loud with the audio filtered and that's is amazing 🔥🔥 and the fact this was a performance that neither BigHit or BTS or any official account confirmed is very impressive. Everything started with an army theory bc of the past post malone concert and especially bc when the were preparing that stage the Jungkook x Calvin Klein add was playing firs in that billboard lol And then, the BTS account hours later said "tomorrow there's an special even" and boom, today the time square was filled with armys in a random Thursday, the surprise event could literally be any other thing and some armys even started doubting this morning bc out of nowhere a BTS official listening party on Stationhead started and people thought Jungkook was the one that did it just like the past ones but this one lasted way longer. Then army was like "wait! Nah guys, this is just a distraction but still keep streaming, the signs are there and we connected the dots immediately lmao I love it 🔥🔥 Imagine if Jungkook didn't perform today at Times square... that would be definitely the biggest army clown party in borahistory 😂😭😭 Anyways, DID ANYONE HAS NOTICED TOO THAT JUNGKOOK IS WEARING SKINNY JEANS AFTER ALL THESE YEARS?? It s the fact that all Army had was a city and a date & they still figured out the location in like an hour. They started camping out there without an actual confirmation. JK is so so loved and he returns that love 200%, just look at all of his performances. He never lets Army down. Fantastic artist!

Actually Not all are ARMY... There are NON-ARMY who was there already and stayed to watch the live performance since it was FREE.. so it was a good promotion. NON-ARMY or strangers are now curious about Jungkook and started to check out his GOLDEN album.

Whenever I watch this performance omg !!! How can I explain I'm 17 and I know them from like back 2018-19 its been 5 years I know them I mean I'm with them,,we literally grown up together and in those previous years and still now I'm so much into listing to their music, seeing ther lives, beyond the scenes, their dance and song practices, each and every Run BTS episodes, even spending more time with them it feels like they're my second home, they saved me fr,,, idk after seeing this video I feel like omooo is this that lil innocent boy I used to laugh at and was spending time with his long night lives,,, when like when did my cookie get this big and mature it's just a blink of my eyes !! not even him but our all 7 of them,,, time flies by I can't explain how badly I miss them when they're serving military services... jokes apart sometimes I really behaves like a senceable military wife 😭✊🏻
