Take it from me kids, LT, drugs are bad. PS One of my absolute favorite things about Matt is his professionalism during a rescue. It's all about getting them out and back on the road, not about judgements or admonishments. Happy Birthday Matt.

From someone who is stone sober and has done a lot of sketchy driving, it is less rocky at night. What you can't see can't hurt you.
The couple in the Honda Element were OUT of their Element in the Desert and flying HIGH! Like Yeah man 🤣🤣
I love that feeling when the front diff hits the face of the ditch and the vehicle comes to a sudden stop, but everything inside the vehicle keeps coming and tries to impale you. Good times! I crossed many plowed/furrowed fields in an '86 Suburban back in my land surveyor days and that first "thump" when the front tires wouldn't climb back out of the ditch would always result in spilled coffee in the passengers' laps. Thanks for the memories, keep wheelin!
That first recovery was CRYSTAL clear, that battery sure was SMOKED tho

Too funny comments. And as for those who are sticking up for them, they’re not clean, or looking to become clean. They’re still hooked on the junk and will be until they die. In fact, that’s what it’ll take to get one of them, the survivor, to clean up their act. And then they’ll reflect all the time on how they used to do this or that, and how much he/she tried to get clean, yada, yada, yada.
You guys are consummate professionals and great humans to boot. You did that recovery pleasantly and without judgement.

I got sick with bronchitis and was off work for a week and in bed with my laptop and got addicted to your channel. I have been in the middle of rebuilding a 15 year old Colorado crew cab 4x4 that had a tree branch go through the windshield and rip the roof up pretty bad. I use to be a bodyman and painter and thought why not? One more rebuild of a totaled out vehicle and I've been wanting a 4 door 4x4 truck for a while for the snow and ice in the winter. Now you have me wanting to put a solid axle in the front and install lockers and raise the height a bit.

Not even through this recovery, and it is by far the toughest one for me to watch. Hope these folks get some help from whatever got them in that situation.
0:29 "It wasn't on the camera" ...I think Lizzy saw that one coming We're just lost. Actually...the battery's dead and we also need a jump....But, bring some coolant, oil, gas and a spare tire, just in case.
I was following a two track in the desert with my father in law once, and as we were talking, we realized the two track was just gone. We could’ve probably backtracked maybe, but there was a road just ahead, maybe 1/2 mile. We ended up driving thru 9,583,277 rock chuck holes on the way to that road, and it took what seemed like forever. We were in a 4Runner, so of course we were fine in the end. Seems like it would be hard to get mixed up out there, but it can happen to the best of us, even sober. Glad they had your help!
Happy birthday Matt! and happy holidays to you your family and crew. Thanks for another year of quality wholesome content.
They got themselves all methed up out there. Glad you guys were able to find them.

Happy birthday Matt. The way you reacted to the first customer who was on something is very professional and shows the character of who you are. God bless and have a wonderful Christmas.
This is where a drone comes in extremely handy. I have used it to find ways around water or get back to tracks out in the brush. I think I use mine near half the time for scouting- trail finding, camp finding, checking if roads aren't washed/flooded, view finding.
Matt and Jamie, thank you so much for an incredible year, I have enjoyed your channel tremendously, brilliant. I wish you and yours and very safe, merry and prosperous holiday season, from Australia, god bless.

Happy birthday Matt! OK, I like Matt and the crew and seeing the adventures they get into. But I'll also admit I really like the scenery and often find myself pulling up Google maps and figuring out where they're at. That's some rugged, beautiful terrain out there! You know it might be fun to start dropping a pin or getting the GPS coordinates of the various recoveries you do. Then you could make a map that shows the hot-spots where people get in trouble. Pretty sure Sand Hollow would be one big mass of dots...
I think Matt's face at 3:48 says just about everything.
You should have called this video "Honda in the elements" Great video as usual, keep up the great work!!
With the last couple videos you've posted with your little trailer you definitely knew what you were doing when you designed it. That thing absolutely goes everywhere especially with the new tires. When those two came spilling out of the ELEMENT, it reminded me of Jeff Spicolli and his buddies rolling out of their VW van at Ridgemont High. Just add smoke and its perfect.
When Matt drove into the trench in the intro - I felt that. The first thing I did with my very first 4x4 was find a construction site where I promptly put my front left tire into a drain hole. Dropped my F250 down on the front bumper and axle tube 🏅
