Additionally, SOMEONE from this class MUST call in after university to let us all know how they did with their debt free school journey!!
Just graduated two weeks ago. Completely debt free, saving 50% of income for a down payment, it’s completely freeing not having student loans over my head

What's your household income? (just trying to channel my inner Dave)
I had to pause my investing while in graduate school to pay for tuition. Well worth it, but I wish I had the cash flow to invest in my Roth IRA.
While in college, invest in yourself by learning. As long as you are in debt, do not work too much but try to learn so that you can really earn and invest later

This was such an amazing call!! And an even more amazing teacher!! God bless him and all his students!!
I am entering my senior year I college this week and because of the ramsey show and learning from what you all teach I will be graduating not only debt free, but also already on baby step four in addition to graduating a semester early. I cannot thank you all enough for helping me learn how to properly manage money and be debt free, you all rock!
I'm 31, I'm going back, but I'm actually purchasing a rental property and started a personal trainer business that I can work part time. Also time is an investment, researching scholarships. I've also opened a mutual fund for my savings account
I wish I opened a Roth IRA when I first started working in my high school and college days. If only I knew then what I know now!

Never too early for Roth IRA Some investment companies offer you money to open one. Check ‘em out lol
This is an AWESOME call and the no exam ending!
I seriously LOVE this!!!!!
Schools should teach more about money and how to save and or spend it in the world today. thats great his class was on the call and the teacher dismissed them for the exam if they got on the phone.
This was awesome!
AWESOME CALL 👏

Yes, I invested my babysitting money through my senior year of high school and throughout college. I didn’t get any student loans so I wasn’t able to invest much but what I did invest grew. I got to a six figure portfolio in my mid 20’s.

Roth IRA with money in a "growth and income" fund and the income automatically reinvested would be fantastic. I wish they had such a thing when I was young.
If he is working he needs to pay for school and work on a small emergency fund BUT if there is any more yes invest a little in a ROTH IRA. Ideally parents would have a college fund or the kid would have scholarships in that case you could invest for sure.
This is so so so cool!
Yes, graduate debt free and not like most young people who start life with NEGATIVE MONEY.
Great phone call
A better investment is no college. I dropped out of high school and make 200k a year.

@@jwlsngold5026 Dad, Daddy, Pop, father. Anything other than his first name. I see no circumstance where addressing your parent by their first name is respectful. I see that you and I see this in opposite ways. It's okay.
