This was the best thing RiverStone could've done. I, and I'm sure most watching have a whole new appreciation for their product. 👍
I've been saving my money for a Brinkley but I think I'll save a little more and invest in a River stone
As a Riverstone owner, I love my RV I have a 2021 Riverstone 39FK Legacy package, my complaints are the " Upgraded" Dyson vacuum is junk, would rather have the standard onboard vacuum, battery on dyson dies after a few minutes of cleaning,, I am glad to see the updated control system, " the one control is very slow, phone app works better than the onboard touch panel". On a side note, glad to see upgrade to Lithium battery, I had issues with my schwentek slide in front, and was found to be a battery voltage issue, after upgrading to Lithium batteries (2) and updated charger to work with lithium, and a reset on the controller. I have has no further slide issues. Overall I have had a good experience with the Riverstone. I would recommend a larger inverter and add 110v plugs into the slideout rooms where sofa are located, * I did remove second sofa and insalled desk area in that space and added 110v power plugs in slide for computer power.
I’ve just binged the 5 episodes so far. Very impressive. These are quality units.

They are indeed. Thanks for watching my friend
This has been a very informative series. The Riverstone is definitely a step above for sure !!! Thanks for this series, great job !!!!
With decades of design, testing and quality control engineering experience great to see positive designs.
Their facility does look very neat and organized with a place for everything and everything in its place. There's a component of lean manufacturing called visual workplace that addresses that. It improves efficiency, and helps reduce incidents of misplaced tools & materials while improving worker ergonomics. Interesting
Very impressive company!!!! Thank you Brother for these videos!!!!
Have you done a used River Stone review? To see how they hold up over time compared to other builds?
@BigTruckBigRV

I have not. The key behind many RVs when used is how they were stored when not being used. High heat, humidity, and lack of conditioned airspace can really take a beating on any RV.
Riverstone is definitely committed across the board at uping the standard of quality. Nick does not appear to be side stepping any question or issue. He has done an outstanding job of continuing a paycheck from his employer. All of these upgrades, or the "standard" items they use, certainly explains a lot of the price of these units. Again, they don't skimp any quality to impact weight savings. They have made a corporate decision to build heavy, quality units, and appear to be holding to that commitment. Be sure and tell Nick how much it is appreciated the amount of detail he is going to in explanation. Thank you, J.D. for going to this level of detail as well. It would be nice if all manufacturers would do this same type video. Although I don't think that will happen, it would highlight some embarrassing shortcomings. And prove they are in the business of get em built, get em out, get em sold, and don't tell folks they need bigger trucks to safely pull these rigs. And as I also live in Texas, salespeople need to quit telling people that onesingle a/c unit will cool these rigs anywhere in the south !!! God bless and stay safe on your travels.
I like what i see. The outdoor amusement business utilizes its RV's as, a second home, the Riverstone units would integrate very well.
Another great video I like the vents in the roof that makes sense
I really appreciate the factory tour videos. It is good knowing how an RV is made and what sets some manufacturers above others. And it will help in deciding what RV I will buy because when I do buy one it will be one and done. Not planning on entry level and then upgrading. It will be an RV that will be nearly full time live-in while we tour the country in retirement.
We love our 2021 Lance 2285! 3 years, no issues. It’s a high quality RV…
New to your channel, so this is like exploding all my thoughts of the rv’s built today. Till now I was very wary and critical of all manufacturers. Riverstone is letting you show they’re not in that substandard category. I’m blown away.
Wow.... I want one, but all the models are too long for my neck of woods. I wish they would build a shorter floorplan (using same build quality) for those of us that stay in State and Federal campgrounds. Overall, very impressive!!!

Totally agree. The older we get the less stress we want in our lives. A really nice 30' would be awesome. Don't have to have a dinette, a couple bar stools and bar/counter space will be fine. East/ West bed in a slide to.

@@kimh2330 I think the industry would be blown away with how much demand there would be for a HIGH quality shorter premium 5th wheel trailer ( 32'- 36'), like the RIverstone. The existing so-called premium trailers (Montana, Paradigm, Solitude and others) offered in shorter models are nothing more than the exact same manufacturing methods used on mid level models with very thin frames and thin laminated walls. The Market needs shorter high quality premium trailers with solid frames. So what if they weigh and cost a little more, it would be worth it!

@@gcslade You're right...I believe that's what a lot of people are looking for.
Would be cool to see them get the square dual pane windows like the Brinkley with the built in shades.
I am so glad you did these videos. As I have been researching our next Rv for full time rving. This provides me with more options than I had previously discovered. Very impressed with their products!
Great videos, JD. I run two dehumidifiers in our 43 foot Solitude, and it’s parked under an RV shelter. I drain off 1 gallon of water per week.
Quality. Period.
I have dual pane windows in my Bounder, there is absolutely a little air gap in them and the seals break and they can get foggy but the secret to fixing them is using a certain butyl tape designed for this… they have the perfect thickness to replace the little paper wafers that the factories use.
This is a very good product! I am a big fan of the windows. We have normal windows in are travel trailer and they get very hot in the summer! I wish are camper had these windows. Huge fan of the roof. Like if can I can add more solor. Thank your for the mine sires JD!
Like the fiberglass roof I would like to see something on spray on type replacement roofs and their pros and cons.
Wow these RV are great and i have not see staples why....because they do great product .Man they are nice
Nice choice in fiberglass, and in the Penguin (can’t believe the industry hasn’t gone completely to heat pumps). Some of the motorized rigs with fiberglass roof had issues with the side termination. Would like to see detail how they do theirs. Anyhoo, if I were king I’d be looking at all Azdel-no luan inside, and if Lippert can’t do better with their welds… (though rumor has it they are upping their training, and if true I’d like to see them successful with their effort).
Love to see how the roof is installed. Great looking product and that’s not something I would say a lot about most modern units
It'd be nice if River Stone would build a 30ft. The quality is Awesome.
Please do a tour of the Cedar Creek factory next (not experience level). I would love to see how much of the construction methodology carries over from the Riverstone to the Cedar Creek.
JD, great series!!! Big fan of Riverstones, I really like the Reserve line up. I have a 1ton single wheel Ram, Can you Ask Nick why they stopped building them??? Would like to hear why? If you g why can you please leave me a answer! Thanks.
Very informative . Not sure if they make a 2 bedroom model. That’s what I need. With living room seating for 4 . Not a 2 seat couch with 2 table chairs .

When making these videos, the tanks, did he ever address or was asked about why all 3 tanks are the same size? Why wouldn’t the water tank be like 100 gallons and have the black tank smaller?
For how much a Riverstone costs, it better be top notch.
@TDub_ADV

they are what like 10% more than a Grand Design at retail, but you get a much better quality unit.
Anxiously hoping to see the Legacy toyhauler with the small garage under the rear bedroom. BTW, I can attest to those A/C units being expensive. I just replaced two of them on my diesel pusher. Total spent, including install with a new digital thermostat... $7500.
Too bad they don't manufacture a smaller non fifth wheel. A 20 ft would be nice.
Can you use a gen y gooseneck on these units or there other products
JD if u had to pick an rv for full time would it be the riverstone or the drv mobile suites. Let me know
@BigTruckBigRV
Ай бұрын
Wow, that's a tough choice. DRVs generally sell for quite a bit more and have a heavier dry weight. Probably a DRV, by a slight edge.
Ask him if they have considered adding starlink to the units
If I’m considering a Riverstone, which other brands should I be considering?
These darn rigs are just so heavy, yes I know they are built good but most of them need or should have a 450-4500 to tow it.
Good move on the roofing. Maybe no more nails poking through in the first couple years....
The dual pane window are stupid expensive to replace.
If the roof has fibreglass what is on the top of slides
Are these 24 or 25 model years?
So who makes a riverstone quality 5th wheel in a 30ft nonslide unit

@@BigTruckBigRV Thanks for the suggestion, they were my first option, but smallest version was a 35ft 5th and they cancelled it after a year or so. Currently 37ft is their smallest option.
Im very confused. My 2024 riverstone was sold as full body paint but not a single slide side wall is painted. Were there some that do not get?

I think this was covered in the video around 6:30 mark. Appears slide out boxes are painted the base coat color so either a white or silver.
