Corpse admitted on Foolish's Minecraft stream that he sang the song he also said that he just sang really high pitched

I think the bridge part "Would it kill you just to smile, at least once in a while. Leave your f**king town, live just in the now" is Corpse talking to himself. Kinda telling himself to get out of his head and start living. It might not be what he meant but that's how I interpret the lyrics. That part is also beautifully sung.

It felt like he quoted that part from an ex where he replies to it with “baby, I got a fever” etc.. meaning he is struggling with his health ”under the weather“, he can’t easily do what was asked but he still in love “under your spell” despite the fact that he only keeps pictures of her cuz she’s history now 😅

He made an hour loop where he first tested out singing like this, it's like a lo-fi beat with just his voice softly in the background. It's the only reason I wasn't too surprised when I first heard this but he has such a pretty singing voice. 🥲

I wasnt surprised at his tone bc on his agoraphobia he's singing the higher pitched background of I'm not ok..but it surprised me at his softness and bringing out like this..amazingly beautiful

I know more more depressive songs from him Life Waster and Agoraphobic Maybe disdain also but im not sure

i cannot believe the man has been hiding this voice it's amazing

For me the thing that gets me is the metaphor of "im so under the weather" of being sick being played with "im so under ypur spell" as if love sick too

As someone with a relatively deep voice (not as deep as corpse's voice). I have found that while singing I'm actually able to make my voice pretty high pitched, which I honestly have no clue how that works exactly so if someone could tell me I would appreciate it.

I have no clue how it works either, but i can do the same. My wife sometimes intentionally plays stuff like "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" or anything by Panic! At the Disco just to hear me sing high lol

Yeah that's normal because u are either singing in falsetto or A head voice mix . When you are speaking U are just using the notes that u are pretty much comfortable with But if u have a large range U could tighten up your vocal cords To make a high note that's significantly higher than your normal voice Or lossen up to make a low note Also the quality of your voice changes a lot And it can be surprising Maybe u have a deep voice But u can imitate a quality of a higher sounding person Voice actors and singers play with this stuff all the time And that depends on what type of voice u have either a bass or baritone or a tenor And your how wide your range is comes from genetics and other stuff

From what I’ve read Corpse made this when he was bored during a rainy day just to pass time

I think the rain was also symbolic of him dropping his emotion like clouds dropping water when they get too heavy. Almost like his emotions were becoming too much for him so he let it out in a song

When I first heard this, I had the same reaction: feature singer or CORPSE? His voice is so beautiful and (to me) sounds vulnerable & something like open/exposing in a way. I also wish that his songs were a bit longer, but at the same time, they are almost the perfect length; it's strange. Very confused why you put this on your second channel instead of the main one where all the other CORPSE reactions are (although I do believe that you haven't done "fuK u lol" at all, but I digress ;P
