Good day Brian. I arrived in Jamaica early Monday afternoon. Soon after arriving to my rental, the winds picked up in a way I'd never experienced! Dirt was swirling into my eyes and onto the veranda. Before I could close the door it had begun to blow inside. I knew a cold front was coming but this was something else! Power seems to as fully restored for the moment (🤞🏼🙏🏽) but I'm waiting for someone to see why my water isn't connected. All in all, I'm more than happy to be here once again! Thank you for keeping us properly informed. You are the absolute best! ❤🇯🇲🇺🇲

Thanks Brian for the heads up on the wind and rain forecast. I prepared for a storm and a storm we got last night. USCG stayed busy reporting yachts dragging anchors and breaking loose from docks in Charlotte Amalie. I’m in a sheltered bay and I saw steady winds of 30 to 40 knots and waves of 2 to 4 meters. Heavy rains and thunder until around 3 this morning. We still have rain showers but slowly improving.

Yesterday was dark and gloomy with 100% chance of rain covering the Extreme Northern Bahamas especially Grand Bahama. The whole island was covered in a green blanket of rain but it was light but constant. The wind was shifting all over the place, sometimes NNW, WNW, NW, up to 28 mph, however, today it's from the N at 19 mph,, and it's sunny☀️ with white clouds adding adding softness to a beautiful blue sky. Captains/cruisers in the Eastern Caribbean discussing difficult anchoring conditions last night and the last few days. Most anchorages are good in north or easterly winds, but not so much south winds and swell coming from the west is particularly bad. The almost 180° wind shift last night was definitely challenging! Thanks for your channel!

Carnival Cruise ship was docked in Ocho Rios yesterday and was pushed into the dock, breaking it. Some damage to the ship, but cosmetic and the ship has gone to sea. Fishermen throughout Jamaica have lost many traps. No injuries that I've heard of, thank God. Thanks as always for the updates ♥️
