He holds a degree in Geography from Villanova University and a degree in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. Hi Brian, thank you for your accurate weather reports. In Jamaica I happen to drive from Clarendon to St. Elizabeth today, leaving out 12:35 pm . Please understand the rain came in buckets, the roads were inundated. There was a bit of wind also lightning and thunder.🇯🇲
Although Saharan Dust affects people with respiratory illnesses negatively by causing these conditions to act up, it has been observed by meteorologists in the Western Hemisphere over the last 2-3 years that Saharan Dust hampers the development of tropical systems into stronger systems, more so retarding the development of a tropical storm into a hurricane. Therefore, when we weigh in on the advantages/disadvantages of Saharan dust, we realise that this phenomenon plays a pivotal role in reducing the number of hurricanes in the Atlantic, Caribbean and Gulf during the hurricane season.

Hey Brian..got some good showers from about 1 to 4 pm..first part heavy but for the last 3 half hour it was light and on and off ..plants are so happy for the blessings.
