This is a first for me! The journey to expanding our stable of motorcycles. Chopper Time!

Well, we sell some motorcycles, buy more choppers, drive all around and still can't stay off of Craigslist! LOL This video is the road to getting some sweet new bikes back home!
This is a first for me, going to be fun learning all about this type of motorcycle!

Who we are:
Old School Bikes and Old School Ways! Ride hard, wrench a lot, and always having a blast.
Bike camping, wrenching, and shenanigans. My husband and I create motorcycle content for people that are tired of seeing all of the fake insta accounts of sponsored boring yuppies.
Here's some realness, we are just broke bikers living the low life and getting by. I ride a 1985 Ironhead Chopper as my daily, my touring bike is a 1984 FXR. We have lots of Ironheads and FXRs and are constantly building more, trying to keep these old neglected scoots on the road instead of rotting away in a garage.

I never understand why people need to tell other people what to do with their bikes or what bikes they should have. If you love a bike then you have struck gold. Do you smile when you look at your bike? If yes then that bike is better than any drug.

Wow! could it be? Here’s the story. Back in 1980 I bought a 1977 Honda CB750 with about 12,000 miles on it from Honda dealer in Hollywood CA. Loved that bike and for 2 years it was my only transportation. It was one of those bikes I should’ve kept. It was super reliable. It had a 4 into 1 Kerker exhaust. I always loved to kickstart it and if I was on a small incline I would get it rolling and bump start it, fired up every time. 1982 came around and there was just so many new bikes on the market and the SOHC 750 was old technology. I ended up getting a Honda Magna V65, fastest production bike for that year. I sold the 750 to a friend and we would occasionally go on rides together. He swapped out the stock black tank and side covers for ones that had an airbrushed orange and yellow desert scene. I didn’t care for it but hey it was his bike now. Anyway he ended up in Las Vegas for a short time but long enough to get in trouble that put him in the slammer for 3 years. While visiting him in the slammer I asked him whatever happened to the bike. He figured he’d lost it because he just left it parked where it was before he got arrested and that was the last he saw of it. Anyway, when I had it I remember installing some hot coils that were orange and yellow spark plug wires. Hmm 🤔 always wondered what happened to that bike. Well it’s a mystery, but maybe just maybe. Anyway I love your channel and I’m looking forward to seeing the results of the new project.

Good morning 🌅, some great looking 👀 Bikes to wrench 🔧 on, I have been looking 👀 at a bike lift, but they are around €5-700 I have a small lift' My Bike is all back together, and it runs ready for test ride tomorrow or Tuesday, depending on the weather, 😂😂😂😂, All new primer side , seals and bearings drive sprocket ⚙️, belt, coil, leads, and rebuild the HSR 42 all new jets, no more back firing, And all new oils but I will be changing them all again in 50-100 miles, as that’s the oils I think have had being contaminated, Was wrong oil, but I’ve put all new oil in gearbox transmission and primary and engine engine oil. I will change all everything again in a few weeks time., Great to see you’ve been spending some pennies getting some bikes that change the way you work , Look forward to seeing how and what you do to them , France.

what the bottom line is, that most all ol harley riders of today started out on a honda back when they was young, iv had all kinds of harleys and i still have one, but i have 2 - 750 honda choppers that i love to ride and i like building choppers at the age of 65, so i started out on a honda and i still have them, i wish i still had my wide glide that i bought new in 1984, last year 4 the shovel, but you know how it goes when you need money,, shit happens, you will have fun with them, so keep on going and don't worry about what anybody else thinks...

From South of Brasil.

GSX, 1100 1981, what were known then as muscle bikes well I’ve got one, it’s sat in my front yard for quite a time now. Finally building my shed garage 20 x 10 so I can strip the GSX down and build a soft tail got a lot of work. I had a GSX in 1981. Then I had numerous bikes a lot of British. In fact, my one another love was a 250 StarFire with a megaphone exhaust and I used to remember a rattling through a city turn 11 o’clock at night with that exhaust rattling off every house. I love that to that Starfire, beautiful bike, pull your arms off with the Shea talk

A lot to unpack in your last couple of video's! If I tried to put it into words it would be a novel. Suffice to say, I agree a lot with what you say. My view is simple, "I like bike"!", any bike. You don't see many 4 cylinder air cooled choppers anymore. Still love them, used to be very common in the UK as older Harley's were hard to find and over priced! In the Philippines, any bike over 400cc over 15 years old is hard to fine as they were not really imported to the country until then. Would love an Evo engined bike but there is probably less than 100 in the country, so silly money territory! There is an Evo Springer for sale that is more than a new M8 Street Bob. I'll stick with my M8 FLSB (bought 3 years old with 200 miles on the clock!) Lots of garage Queens here, also bout a 2021 48 for half the new price (2 years old) with under 500 miles on the clock. Love the character of the Sportster, getting back on the M8 you can see just how bland that platform is.Looking forward to seeing you transform the Honda's 🤘

I grew up on the west coast, where used Harleys were super expensive, so I always had old Japanese bikes. Then I lived in Texas and New England and Harleys there are much cheaper and old Japanese bikes are over priced, hah. I'm a mechanic so I don't have much time to wrench on my own junk, so I mostly ride evo sportsters, boringly reliable, but I'm on the prowl for that 1x in a lifetime deal on an old harley project, here in vt the farmers got all kinds of antiques squirreled away, you never know what you'll find, hah.

Hell yea .. now where talkin ... Honda power choppers are the shizzz ... i am absolutely jealous of those bikes ... Cool stuff and looking forward to you working on them Congrats ... I love the cb750s and recently rescued a 91 cb750 that I just completed ... It was destined for the scrap pile , carbs were in a bucket all taken apart , parts missing ... bent rim ... corrosion on all the switches causing a voltage drop to the coils ... tach not working ... Lotsa work but Its a pretty good bike now after about a month of highs and lows tweeking it back to life ...

Always keeping the dream alive! Y'all just had one great Christmas in June! Two new to y'all old school choppers, a fabulous pick-up truck, y'all really came away with big smiles on your faces! You will love learning to work on those old Japan bikes. Craigslist is pretty much where I find all my motorcycles and gear. Good deals for sure. Can't wait till you get that new front end on and go ripping in the twisties! Y'all both ride those old chops and stay safe! Peace!

Choppers are always cooler than stockers, I don't care about the brand. Chopped Honda is better than a brand new geezer Glide. My first bike was a 75 CB 350 four, that little bike would carry me anywhere.

Fun bikes! I bought a 1972 Honda 450 in 1974, turned it into a cafe racer in '75. National speed limit was 55, I spent a lot of time between 80 and 105 mph. Light, quick, with decent handling and a high revving engine, fun to ride. The DOHC engine was designed for racing or street, way ahead of it's time. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I did mine. I still have a set of 4 Mikuni 29mm smooth bore carbs from the Kawa KZ1000 I had plus the 4 column mercury carb synchronizing tool if you feel the need. The 750 might like some more go-juice.

Greetings from sun Harley in lovely thorton co. Learned on a hd x 90 we we actually used to have one upstairs in parts on display. Not a lot of cats know Harley once made a 2 stroke but it was really a aramacki. Sic? Lade in italy during the amf years. Ahhhhhh still remember that smell! Filled the whole neighborhood with smoke. The smell of victory!! Like napalm in the morning. Id give anything for one of those sx 250 s but impossible to find one that actually runs. They also made a motocross bike for 2 years. Had a factory team rider named rex staton. Be so cool show up with one of those at bike night. Cheers
