Hi mister Onit ;-) , this game was almost over before it started ! in my opinion the Seleucid player did a verry good job and the Averni did what he had to do.... In Fact the attackers stood no chanse. To prevent things like this you could deploy further from the city AND bring enough spearunits even 2 pike units. About this game you have chosen the wright title ! It was spectaculair to watch for sure 🙂. So thanks for posting ...

That was one heck of a Sally out ambush 😅 thoroughly enjoyed your commentary Joe❤❤... I wish Rome was there to support the other two players or if he had tortoises he could have taken a section of the settlement and cut through the defenders... probably a new player 😅... I really enjoyed

one last thing, while everyone from the defenders where focust on the suprise attack, rome could have done so much more ! Almost all troops where on the otther side of the city and he was fighting with only 1 unit of legionaires. He could have donne so much more. Rome had to push hard so the defenders where forcet to send troops to the otther side and so relieved his allies from the pressure.

That was very very rough to watch. Definitely not a snacks and drinks fight maybe a capri sun drink and go. Defenders have played together several times I was I think the recipient of a battle very similar. Joe, you have a Joe’s rules list of no no no. Rule#1 do not attack alone! Even though rome didn’t receive the brunt initially it did in the end. For attackers in general staying close together in a 3v3 may have helped. Think about it what if rome planted itself in between arverni and Seleucid? These battle’s unfortunately occur a lot in multiplayer games even though it’s brutal to watch. Even though the attackers had no idea, if they were all together it might of help. Perhaps newer players. Once you see this and your teammate can’t help it’s the beginning of the end. Tips and tricks are hard to follow here bud. I’m sure many of us had the pleasure of being guerilla deployed or sally out on. My only suggestion would be if you see a few of these factions together along with ardeii and aravaci be prepared. Pergamon arverni macedon are other suggestions. But yeah the opening scene…… keep the seiges coming……

All those pila would have made a huge difference with the rest of the attackers

i thought Rome cant do more dumb moves then he used loose formation against chariots and cav

Hm......hm ..hm....yes, study the opposing factions and arrange for a counter sally out maneuver like Seleucid falling back towards Arverni and forming a line together, said easily. When those were randomly assembled players, no chat, no fun, no chance. Sorry to say that, but the Roman's actions were useless to be annoying to watch.
