Cat statue is a "Large" treasure. As done you must carry it all the way back to your base & put it in your treasure room. It is used to increase your wealth for higher Purges. All Treasures are. Or deco with the statues I guess. NPCs will spawn the entire way home you must fight off. The Devs have heard the complaints about walking them, they said they are looking into being able to put them on your horse. It's a neat idea, but the map is just so big, it can take literal hours. I've done once lol, I got the same statue, walked back to my base, which was near yours. So about same distance. Luckily I had already built a bridge. Got DCed right outside the base, logged back in & treasure despawned. Also if Apprso had have just ran & gone across the water the horse would just teleport to you away from the mobs.

You can carry them through teleporters, makes the trip considerably shorter

If the Devs made it so you could carry it on a horse drawn cart, that could work. Slower than riding but faster than walking, and the cart could be used to carry other things as well.

@@iller3 Having a treasure room is how you get better purges, and purges are how you get better thralls. Less important in PvE, but essential in PvP which is frequently a toxic cesspool of constant attacks and betrayals. Never trust anyone you don't know well in PvP.

@@Devin_Stromgren my experience in PVP was that most mid-level tribes would grief just about any newbs that showed up on the map to drive them off the server. If you managed to stick with it and find a hidden refuge, then you realize all the best quadrants are blocked off by MASSIVE tier 3 fortresses with walls spanning outward to seal off claim blocks in the largest radius. And those guys are bored and never around. It's a never ending grief fest that Conan has never figured out how to improve.

4:20 Simon's pouch on his hip has an oogie boogie face and now I'll never unsee it

Pro-tip: if your thrall/pet/horse that is following you is getting shishkebab'ed, the best thing to do is just RUN in one direction, while the enemies are busy with trying to kill your pet you can run, get to maximum tether for your pet, and your pet will then teleport right next to you. You have to run in one direction though, not zigzag or circle around, in those cases your pet will just stay inside the tether patiently waiting for it's death, like what happend to brown horse. Simon instincts work in this game! When the going gets tough, just book it and run from your troubles. I'm impressed Appsro managed to change the follow distance of the horse, he definitely got the right idea by changing distance to max for horses, less chance of them getting in the way, and close enough for travel ease.

Yup, I found one of those gold kitties in the mounds of the dead. I dragged the golden kitty across the map and fought NPCs all the way. I forgot to add the gold kitty to my treasure room. The next time I played the kitty was gone. Hahaha. That almost broke me.

I love how they don't care that much about building, meanwhile I live in a pyramid with a giant tree at the center, and balconies overlooking it but get killed easily by bosses in confined spaces and dark caves.

Derketo Cat Idols can also be found at the Black Galleon , it is recommend to unlock the Teleports by upgrading your sorcery knowledge first, you can place teleports linked to another one at your base in this way you can place one outside the Tresures spawn locations , in order to avoid must of the Npc spawning by the treasure in your hands

Only about half of them are crafters. Two fighters and an archer outside, two archers on the bridge in the first room, one wandering fighter/archer, two stationary random crafters, then another wandering fighter/archer in the next room, two stationary crafters, two stationary dancers, three more fighters/archers, another crafter and the priest/t4 crafter.

Wow. I had no idea about the dive animation in Conan. Neebs taught me something new today.
