Our previous good boy was (what I guess) as German shepherd Alaskan Malamute mix. He looked like the perfect 50/50 combo of the two and he had one floppy ear

Parker is a stunner. Initially I thought he looked pretty good before the groom, but that lovely coat was hiding those matts. He was such a good boy. Great job 👏

He reminds me alot of my dog 😃 He‘s got Husky, Laika and a bit of white swiss shepherd in him and he is the most calm und gentle dog ever. He loves treats, is very cooperative and behaves wonderful in every environment 🥰 He came from a shelter in russia and was returned by his new owner here in germany. Thats when I got to know him ❤️

Had huskies 30+ years, never had a real singer. As with all breeds, most behavior depends largely on training and socialization.😁

Who could resist that face??? Seriously, I fell in love with him immediately, but watching the smile, head tilt, and wag when you said, "right, Parker?" at 15:05 melted my heart. The definition of a good boy. 🥰

We had a Malamute-Huskey-Shepherd mix. He was a huge boy, one blue eye and one brown eye. Loving and sweet. He went to be with all the other good boys and girls and we still miss him and grieve him 15 years hence.

Some dogs aren't happy unless they're chasing/hunting something. Others cannot find contentment without a job to do. Then you get the velcro puppers like this cutie patootie; he's happiest being snuggled and used as a teddybear~🥰

Parker is stunning. Has a real dark wolf look I imagine he/she just stepped out of the fantasy books I read 🥰 These videos are so educational. I learn something new ever time. I can see how much intricate artistic work is involved with grooming, particularly these long coated breeds. before watching your videos I never understood the cost but now I can see it makes sense. Happy New Year everyone 🇦🇺💐

Parker is the most adorable dog in the whole wide world. His face and his eyes and his ears are perfect. He is the perfect size. He is mellow (at least, he appears to be.) I'm sure that the Husky side of his family has disowned him, as he is not much of a singer. But I like him just the same

Parker of the One Floppy Ear was adorable, shed an incredible amt of fur, and I was exceedingly glad you wore that 'beekeeper-style' hat! Also, Parker was incredibly patient during this entire process!

Seeing how calm and well-behaved he was for being such a supermutt, I can't help but wonder: What if there were many more like him to the point that they were their own breed? I sadly don't know much about how new breeds are brought about, but I am well aware of some of the pitfalls. But I really can't help but wonder: What if there were more of these wonderful dogs?

There are. They are in shelters everywhere. That’s where I got my first dog. She was certainly a super-mutt. All I could identify was the German Shepherd. She was the best dog ever.

any breed that has been bred properly will have the desired temperament for that breed as well as quality health and looks. backyard breeders and designer mutts contribute to much of the stray dog population. depending on where you go, a lack of vet clinics means there's a lot of intact dogs in an area, which means more puppies and more full shelters, too.

When it comes to creating a new breed it takes so long because of one thing; predictability. Every breed is known for specific traits. Goldens are big squishy friendly fluffers, poodles being smart and loyal, GSD being great protectors etc. Size, conformation (shape), coat texture, coat color, temperament, and health are some key factors that need to be bred for and getting to a consistent range. For an example lets use the dog in the video; size maybe all dogs would be 24-28" females 22-26", males 65-75# females 55-65#. Conformation would be that more similar of a malamute, large heavy bones, foxy face. Thick double coat but not profuse. Black/white, grey/white, red/white, and all with the possibility of tan instead of white. Proud, easy-going, loyal dog. Possible hip dysplasia and cardiac issues which can be easily bred away from with modern health testing. TLDR; creating new breeds isn't as easy as it seems. It's even harder to get them accepted into breed clubs like CKC or AKC.

@@nicoswolf57 Thank you so much. She set the blueprint for me. I didn’t have pets as a kid so that bond was the first of its kind I had. And it hit me hard when she died. But I kept reminding myself we had her for ten great years and she had a great life with us ❤️

husky is certainly not the dominate breed in this very well behaved fella.

I experienced my own furnado today when I groomed my Italian Spinone named Geppetto. He's as good for grooming as this beautiful boy was! 🥰

I stopped renewing my RN license in the 90s & returned to veterinary nursing. I loved being able to give the care without the politics, the Drs were nicer & I got bit less. Of course, less money but more sanity. I'm retired now but I loved giving baths, it's rewarding & with a great setup, nice for everyone. I'm impressed with her quality of equipment & would have killed for that anti-hair hat! Doing dog show preparatory baths for a lady who raised St. Bernards earned my daughter her first car lol

I can't wait to be able to watch this with subtitles/captions. I have watched without as I couldn't wait, but it isn't the same without knowing what comentary and speech I am missing (I am Deaf). Please add captions! I love your content and hate missing out.
