Love it. Thanks for reporting back! 🙌🏻🏆💪🏻
wrestling, DOES NOT look impressive, BUT IS Highly EFFECTIVE!
This is EXACTLY what I needed. I'm horrible at shooting & my takedown game is weak, but this is the 1 I actually have success with it. However my technique has been poor because I was going really based off of trial & error, & I never knew how to look up the technique & nobody ever showed me. Now that I know it's legit & how to work it, I'm gonna work it like a 9-5. Thank you!!!

Love to hear it brother. If you like headlocks I highly suggest checking out our "Hip-Sag Headlock" short video. Game changer
A couple days ago I saw this video. I did this today during my sparring session and it worked!!! Thank you so much brother ❤️💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Love to hear it! Time to throw your professor 🕺🏼
One of the first takedowns I learned in wrestling. Works great especially since few people seem to know it. I would go headlock and if it failed go right into the reverse headlock. Sometimes even just fake the headlock and go with the reverse. We called it the "Technique Tuesday" lol
Just did this last friday where the defender frees the underhooked arm so it turns to a back take

Great explanation!🏆
Can’t wait to try this but my favorite part is your disregard to the controversy.

I'm glad someone caught it 😎
This is great! Used with a head and arm or go kesa gatame or reverse kesa gatame as a mount attack, it's a game changer!
I get people bending over in judo a bit, I need to try this even in gi
it's weird that some people I see that are younger than me but for some reason my mind tells me that they are or seem older than me... friggin weird... anyone else ever experience this before?

I don't know if I've I've experienced that but I feel like I get treated as younger because I look younger than I am.
Great stuff
The Pinch Headlock!
Love teaching this to our younger kids on a collar and under tie combo.
Impeccable instruction, impeccable hair 😫✨

95% of my takedowns are EXACTLY that pace and slow speed. I thought I was the weirdo. Thank you.
lol, who said headlocks don't work? Maybe they were just repeating what they heard about them not working well for submissions in BJJ and MMA?
NICE!!!
Thank you for showing this! Im going to drill this one osss!
Awesome

Nice, but I thiiiiiink it's more commonly called a "Pinch Headlock." There seem to be more results when one searches for that, anyway. Good stuff. One of my favorites. I like getting the underhook from my opponent's collar tie, by open-hand pushing/punching his elbow up with my right hand, and then digging for the underhook with my left hand.
Just realized that you can do "super thanks" on shorts on other channels but not on yours. Can that be changed?

I contacted KZread. Sorting it out. Thank you for letting me know 💪🏻 I really appreciate your support! I’ll have Patreon up soon!
you could purposefully put yourself in hg then shoulder of justice into a pass to mount 9 points that way.
This is a very good technique which is almost never used. Actually works. And if they try to square up and stay on their feet ya can always bomb the headlock back the standard way and get some frequent flyer miles haha
As soon as you step your foot between his legs after the under hook, you are only one easy move away from falling down on your back.
That was the best headlock I used in wrestling. Most others seem to risky. It’s like a forced headlock. Keep that grip right under their far ear/jaw area. Drive the their arm to their near ear with your shoulder, suck the head down and towards your chest. Wrench the neck hard enough and they are going.
Seems like this could be easily set up off a collartie as well

Always had more success with headlock and underhook throws than with single/double leg takedowns
👍👍👍
Pinch headlock
Headlock is known to be weakest shut only used by bullies😂 You get easily suplex to side. Or outside triped.
hugging and kissing
Is that grip a full nelson? Trying to work out if I can do it legally in BJJ...

No not a full nelson, you're definitely good to go for BJJ!
It’s called a pinch headlock..
What is your name?

Headlocks are illegal in wrestling that move is called the crusher
THIS FOR FREE???
Who says headlocks don't work? Y'all scrubs
What if you were to throw him from that position
@WrestlingUniversity
Жыл бұрын
Then all is well in the world 🙌🏻 it’s easier to generate the slow crank (also requires less energy) but if you do actually throw that’s fine too
This obviously won’t work in a match. You didn’t completely pick im off the ground and slam him on his head. In all seriousness I love this move but I just suck at throws unless it’s a lat drop.
What about if you're doing that with someone there's a lot bigger and stronger
@WrestlingUniversity

harder to hit this technique on bigger and stronger people, but not impossible.

any takedown is hard to hit on bigger stronger opponents, all you need to do is to capitalize on misdirection and momentum
No u throw it
"Reverse headlock"????
Nice rash guard! Where can I get one?
Why is he wearing shorts over his spatz ? That's pointless & unnecessary extra clothing.

Protect the knees from mat burn. A lot of gyms don't allow dudes to wear spats with no shorts.
