This is EXACTLY what I needed. I'm horrible at shooting & my takedown game is weak, but this is the 1 I actually have success with it. However my technique has been poor because I was going really based off of trial & error, & I never knew how to look up the technique & nobody ever showed me. Now that I know it's legit & how to work it, I'm gonna work it like a 9-5. Thank you!!!

One of the first takedowns I learned in wrestling. Works great especially since few people seem to know it. I would go headlock and if it failed go right into the reverse headlock. Sometimes even just fake the headlock and go with the reverse. We called it the "Technique Tuesday" lol

Nice, but I thiiiiiink it's more commonly called a "Pinch Headlock." There seem to be more results when one searches for that, anyway. Good stuff. One of my favorites. I like getting the underhook from my opponent's collar tie, by open-hand pushing/punching his elbow up with my right hand, and then digging for the underhook with my left hand.

This is a very good technique which is almost never used. Actually works. And if they try to square up and stay on their feet ya can always bomb the headlock back the standard way and get some frequent flyer miles haha

As soon as you step your foot between his legs after the under hook, you are only one easy move away from falling down on your back.

That was the best headlock I used in wrestling. Most others seem to risky. It’s like a forced headlock. Keep that grip right under their far ear/jaw area. Drive the their arm to their near ear with your shoulder, suck the head down and towards your chest. Wrench the neck hard enough and they are going.
