@@chuckdeuces911 I saw a cat fall in a pool once, and while it did become completely submerged, it literally shot out of that water like a missile, and was up on the concrete being very indignant and shaking itself off so fast I'm not sure if it did any swimming or its own embarrassment carried it up and out like lightning. I pretty much fell over laughing.

If he didn't want to do this, especially repeatedly, he would escape far before they brought him to the beach again.

@@user-sk8th1ou3m Serious question, have you ever owned a cat? I can tell you, that cat is not stressed at all being in or near water. You can condition cats to not hate water by bathing them regularly when young for example. My cat sometimes jumps on the counter when the tap is running and takes a little shower by himself (though diving and swimming is still a nono). From a lifelong cat owner's experience, I would say that cat doesn't mind water and it's definitely not terrified. I personally would put a lifejacket on it and the leash kinda scared me at first because it might get tangled up while swimming, but from what I can see they're in very calm water and are always very close to it so I don't really see the cat in danger.

(mainly because i think he's too fat and lazy to fight it so he just lets it happen lol)

My family had a cat back in the sixties and seventies that would get into the shower with either my dad or myself if we weren't watching him. He even hid behind the toilet, and tried to get into the bathtub with my mother once. She called my dad to come get him. His personality was much more dog like, and he never met a stranger. Sure do miss him.

He reminds me a LOT of my Benji cat, named appropriately. Even looks a lot the same too. Benji would literally run outside and sit by the truck when we said "Want to go for a ride?" He had the biggest personality! Purr In Peace Benj!

A cat hanging ten is the coolest thing I've ever seen.

You should see mine. Each time i shower he comes to play with the water. He ends up soaking wet and dripping across the house :)

Some cats do like water, they aren’t scared of it like in cartoons. Water is a weird feeling. You have to get them used to it, because cats lean themselves. Imagine being put in some warm liquid un announced, pretty startling.

mmm not really. I'm assuming you don't know much about cats and are relying on what cartoons and stereotype of cats tell you. Because many cats love water. They could naturally like it from the beginning or often, it has to do with conditioning them when they're young kittens so they associate water with good, positive feelings. He probably had a very good owner before who did this or he grew up on the streets and learned to not be afraid by himself as he wouldn' always have a safe place to hide from rain and what not. What makes him unique is that he enjoys surfing and isn't scared by all the loud sounds and waves hitting him.

My puma, Dr. Evil, loves water & pets but no grabbing his tail cuz he hates that. Oohhh & hugs & mice are his fav!!! Then he loves kisses from pretty girls only. If you rub his belly he'll love it & lick ur hands but only for a few seconds then he'll bite u after that.

Cats are good companions and very relaxing and comforting to be with.

@@Zeetana1 he’s not scared, he’s just taking in a lot of incoming light from the sun. The pupils of cats constrict and dilate in reaction to environmental stimuli. Here, being at the beach, and exposed to high amounts of sunlight caused the cats eyes to constrict in order to preserve and protect the eye. The counter mechanism would be dilation where cats lets the most amount of light into the eye.

That is because he is being terrorized! Look at the cat's ears, it is his voice,it tells us, I am terrified for my life! Look how the poor cat tries to protect itself from the idiots!

they're definitely a perfect match. cat and humans both very lucky to find each other.

So rare that a cat enjoys being in the water . May be because he loves his mom's and dad's company and wants to share moments together. ❤

this cat living a better life than 95% of humans

I had a cat who liked hiking and going on bike rides. One day when he was 17, he chased a bird into the river. So I thought maybe he might like kayaking. He picked up kayaking. Just like this cat, he’d swim, get back in the boat, dry out in the sun. Good times.

@Sunfeld Jiramhir I do agree. The video is super cool tho :) But yeah I agree. I have seen some friends with their cats treat them like children and it has even led to unnecessary fighting for the silliest of things.

@@sgshaday I have also seen pets make relationships much better. Don't people also fight about children? Apparently, you are not aware of parents fighting over how children are raised; and vicious court battles over child custody case. If this cat were treated as a cat and not as a human, he could not have learned to surf. Respect animals and treat them as equals. Animals are far superior to humans in many ways.
