I wonder if part of the reason they're cheap is because most people had kind of your reaction to lots of the items- "oh, that doesn't look like it's going to be good " but then it turns out ok? Like it simply doesn't sell itself well so brands offload it extremely cheaply. I've also seen resellers acquiring stock from vendor returns where a shipment gets damaged and is written off as a total loss and is supposed to be destroyed but is salvaged instead. It's not a constant or reliable supply, but that's fine for this. I'd still be a little concerned about expiration for liquid eye things though.

I think 'overstock' here is a synonym for 'old and expired'...

This box, makes me think...someone who has many subscription boxes and receives LOTS of duplicates and has kept them all and is now cleaning out the hoard closet and selling it...even if it is expired.

No. They buy left overs in bulk, from shops, warehouses etc, items that either got pulled from the shelfs for not doing great, or overstock, or even just returns. Then they repackage them into smaller boxes, from the piles they have, and sell those.

Babe, this stuff seems OLD. Some of these brands have been out of commission for years and I see the usual suspects from QVC, where you can only tell new/old from packaging. Thank you for spending money so we don't have to! You always volunteer to take one for the team and we love you for it. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Some of this makeup is deff expired from the look and scent you described. Please be carful using it if you do, like the eyeliner causing a skin reaction. That could be solely just from expired product. This box is such a scam! Not like I know designer brands really but the 2nd scarf you pulled out had so much lose thread, they are probably fake reproductions. I appreciate you showing stuff like this because I take this as a huge buyer beware, I'd be so upset to spend any amount of money on something like this.

This is one of those boxes where you’re super excited to order it, anxiously await it, open it with high hopes and then… rethink some of the choices you make online late at night.

This is giving Dollar Tree crossed with Beauty Scoop vibes. Like someone just cleaned out the beauty aisle at the DT and brought everything home and put it in buckets according to shade - light, medium, dark - and then when you order they just take a big ole ice scoop and scoop you out products. And then topped it off with a couple of things they can't resell (the scarves). There's clearly no care put into this what-so-ever.

Have you ever thought about putting a couple of Dollar Tree bins by your desk and then, as you unbox, you could immediately put anything you don't want into them? Maybe one for donations and another for family/friends? Or use an empty box and when it gets full, slap it on PoshMark as a mystery box.

yep, using bubblewrap to remove lip products is a new one, even for me hahah

I hate to say it, yet with the exception of the two peacock scarves, this box belongs in the trashcan.

One thing i have always noticed and really come to love is your positivity even when you get things that arent exactly what was anticipated.. The little "oh! this could work for someone!" and other remarks are just so cute and i genuinely love your positive outlook, i feel like theres alot of negativity on social media these days so i truly appreciate your content!

Careful with this stuff. The bad scent means it could have been in an old warehouse with incontinent rodents. Give your hands and the products a good clean or buy a light that exposes pee! Peridone MD is lovely but often has a short date.

No, you're right. There's a code on each batch that you can look up online and see, as long as it's publicly available and they don't reuse batch codes.

I just love your videos so much every time I see that you put out a video I get so happy the vibe that you bring help you are just yourself I just love it all❤❤❤ but I will watch anything you put out because I like how you express yourself in your videos and that makes me happy

I think these are VERY OLD! I worked at a cosmetology school YEARS ago and years before that TIGI was used in the makeup kits.

That Mally mascara was my absolute fave, I loved it sooo much! It’s def old tho, I haven’t been able to find it in ages. I just might want to talk you into sending it my way tho, I don’t care how old it is 😅💜

The Mally eyeshadow stick is really good, once you apply those they don’t budge and I’m wondering the applicator that was Mally was probably for these eyeshadow sticks and that’s why they’re so dense.

That Mally mascara was one of my all time favs! BUT lol Im pretty sure its discontinued. I looked for it a couple(maybe a few) yrs ago and couldnt find it anywhere. But it was super volumizing. I would totally buy if its still being made now.

I got sucked in to a mystery box on tiktok and it was double and triples and all the same brand and cher perfume

The scarf looks good on your little table.

Tigi does have eye shadows for sale in same packaging. They are mineral shadows and cost $21 each. Although they dont have a current one called Green tjey do have a pretty emeral green color and ot is diffdrent. They also have a chocolate kiss color that is a nice brown.
