I'd love to see more about brands like avant & byroe. I got an avant cleanser in ipsy, it has the hero ingredients on the front - it was so basic they had to use dimethicone & panthenol to round out the list. Great scent & texture but absolutely nothing stellar. $110, for sale only on their website. The overnight carrot mask from byroe was similar. Very suspicious & I suspect $6-7 per avant item is a very reasonable price lol, but not some fabulous deal. There seem to be dozens of brands that only work with boxes and price nice drugstore makeup as luxury.

definitely contact the subscription company over the product that shouldn't have happened regardless if it was still in date it was dried up and it should be replaced or the company should be made aware of this situation

Over on the beauty boxes subreddit, they have a post devoted to that Chic box. Fenty and Revlon both confirmed those products were both expired. And Clarin couldn’t pull up the batch number of that lipstick but did note that it is an old version of it and not the current one. So AT LEAST 3 of those products are old/expired.

Fenty sold the product to vendors to get rid of the product. They probably held on to it because they didn't think people would remember the problem from 5 yrs ago. Good on you. Highlighter Blush unless it has mold last a long time if not used or moisture gets to it. Not surprised Fenty is giving old stuff to sub boxes, kind of like TJ Max gets products that the stores can't sell and they are discontinuing.

Yeah, the Geisha Chic color came back as Ruby Richez. So, if it were within the last couple of years, it would be that.

When I got my first Fenty refill bullet, I had to finally look up a youtube video on how to actually load it, since I, too, wrecked the lipstick.

With the crystal grid from the witch box I’d say go for it! If you have some crystals that you’d like to put on it in a way that is appealing to you, it’s serving its purpose. While I don’t personally use a crystal grid in my practice because I have to keep all my crystals up and away from little hands, it can be a great way to set some positivity and beauty.

The investigation would be so interesting!!!!!

I would strongly encourage you to make it a priority to take care of yourself ABOVE ALL. This might seem like a selfish attitude, but it's not. Parents on an airplane are instructed, in case of an emergency where the oxygen masks pop down from the ceiling, to put their mask on FIRST, before they put one on their child. This goes against nature for most parents, but it is a very important concept to remember. I learned the same lessons decades ago when I became a lifeguard. We were taught that as a lifeguard, your life is MORE IMPORTANT than that of the person you are rescuing. That sounds cold and wrong, but it's not. The idea being that if you extend your energy beyond your skills and abilities to rescue a drowning person, then you could drown as well, creating two drowning victims instead of one. If you put yourself FIRST, as the lifeGUARD, then you are much more likely to be able to perform a successful water rescue and save TWO LIVES in the process!! Does that make sense? I hope you get to read this comment and at least think about this concept of the importance of self care in your life. What the heck, break ALL the small bubbles on a sheet of bubble wrap once in awhile! To borrow from Revlon... YOU are WORTH IT!! ❤🎉❤

The reason the Fenty Beauty Geisha Chic was recalled voluntarily was because of the backlash of cultural appropriation. There was nothing wrong with the product itself. As far as Clarins products go; they are absolutely the best made in France and from plant ingredients. Love your videos and your silliness!
