Does anyone else feel like 2042 should have a single player campaign/ coup? Like I like multiplayer games because it’s never the same everytime and campaign stuff is better for good storyline like bad company 2, bf3 and bf4 which both have good campaigns in their own ways.

It needs a campaign considering they brought Irish and Pac back. If they are going to make it a continuation off of Battlefield 4 it needs to have a good story to expand off Bf4

They only care of monetization updates. Dice received tips from Apex creators on how they were so successful even though their game was free. COD did the same thing with War Zone, and now dice wants in. They abandoned quality creation for monitized transactions.

I think they dont want to have 2 campaign story telling like cod has. You know cod has campaigns, and when you end that campaign, you left with answers and you have to fallow warzone and watch cinematic trailers and sutff. I say they sawed this ugly pattern of new cod campaigns and chosen to progress this story by multiplayer and short films like exodus. Its not campaign but its a story telling by special ways plus its cost less and let them focus on other things

Hearing the story of 2042 it makes me wonder if in the future we could see an update where instead of fighting as No-Pats for Russian and the US, but the No-Pats vs Russia and the US. I feel like that could be an awesome way of doing things if the No-Pats managed to get themselves a foothold against the two superpowers. Mercs vs Soldiers, the Exiled vs the Exilers.

It's also a good Russia And US teamwork tbh. Former enemies uniting together to defend themselves against a No Pats rebellion. The owners uniting to defend themselves and put down a mercenary uprising.

Ah man, putting the bf2142 menu theme in your video gave me goosebumps! Thank you for this sum-up I played back in the stone age a lot of bf2142 and I'm looking forward to play 2042, as a father I have few spare time but I'm optimistic. Aaaand I hope they explain in the season who will come how the EU got formed again and the PAC came to be.

@@diehardGG I feel the goosebumps. Its one of the darkest Battlefield games up to this date. Its bleak of existence as humankind and evolution of battlefield is closely getting forgotten in history to bring the extinction as the ice age is spreading the glaciers across the globe and the human civilization is really depleted on natural resources as well. The only place where humans have any kind of survival and its on continent around the northern part of Africa where energy and food can provide for 60% of perhaps few million people? Maybe more than that. The maths are simple: only friction of human civilization will survive, the rest will die by the approaching cold. There's not a glimmer of hope to be found this will be resolved peacefully because after all, human fight to survive by the end, and this is no different. And that Battlefield 2042 is showing the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle for the future to come like the wall project by Sierre Leonne would be impactful in the next century but several questions remains unanswered: Who is responsible behind the satellite blackout crash, USA, Russia, Non-Pats? Or was it actually Pan-Asian Coalition this time? Most maps on Battlefield 2042 sounds exactly where PAC's influence could spread there and take over the governments.

I wish I can send this to my bestfriend but hes doing battlefield in real life overseas

@@benjapizarro981 It’s called a combat deployment or a deployment if it’s just a regular one, most of the time combat deployments aren’t actually combat but basically guarding and occupation of a controlled region

Good catch

The lore of 2042 is something special to me. Other futuristic stories tend to focus on a bleak, perfect world like Advanced Warfare, but 2042 has some extra realism integrated into it by adding nature's wrath, society's potential changes, and even spatial disasters. The idea of No Pats, non patriated soldiers, are so prominent in the form of separatists and often extremism is added to it. Feels based, and is very special. Wonder what Oz is looking into that superweapon.

Check out the BO3 lore. The story itself may not be a cup of a tea, but the world surrounding BO3 is one of my favorite fictional universes. So terrifying, and it seems like it may happen to us as well.

the production and story telling skills you got are amazing, insta sub!

The No Pat logo is really well designed. So simple, yet it send s a clear message about who it stands for. Its also kind or irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, but it should still be praised.

The campaign could’ve been so f’ing amazing, crazy to think some of this could actually happen in the near future too.

That's a pretty interesting story, it's a shame that there's no single player campaign. Germany's collapse and China's presumed decline (due to their not really being mentioned) seems pretty questionable, especially since Russia would be more likely to collapse in such a scenario than both those countries. But hey, that probably wouldn't please our overlords in the CCP very much, would it.

Russia Federacy may get overthrown by the Pan-Asian Coalition and soon spread their influence across middle-east, south-east Asia and India (As well Japan). For those who do not know, Pan-Asian Coalition is first mentioned as playable faction on Battlefield 2142 where in this universe planet Earth is experiencing an ice age that have frozen the northern and southern hemispheres, most of former USA, EU and Russia land have been taken over by ice glaciers as well natural resources and land to live are almost extinct, the only habitable place to live would be on North Africa and this can only feed and make room for 1/3 of total world population. So in this respond, the alliance with Russia, India, Middle-east and Japan (who knows what happen to China, Japan might have successfully taken the rest of south-east asia together with India) will race and take up the fight against newly formed European Union whats left of it. However on Battlefield 4 DLC Final Stand, Pan-Asian Coalition is also present as sort of experimental weapons and armour vehicle contractor for the Russia Federacy where you can find iconic Battlefield 2142 prototype equipment put up to the test against the US Army like the Nekomata Hover Tank prototype (Which is funnily enough Japanese and not Russian), the Rail Gun would be predecessor of Pilum H-AVR (Heavy Anti-Vehicle Rifle) since it does pack a lot of punch towards vehicles as well. Or this is before the mounted stationary Rail Gun like many stationary rocket launchers you find in Battlefield 4, Battlefield 2 for example. The dogtags you find for the phantom bow challenge are also close those the design from Battlefield 2142. The prototypes of the battle walker tanks are present on Giants of Karelia but unfortunately it cannot put to use in combat, much like the Titan ship prototype you find inside Hangar 21 have nothing to put use besides killing players in the maintenance tunnels below to exhaust the engine fire all the way outside and burn everything alive down here. Fun fact, titan ships were not used in combat before the events of Battlefield 2142 but mostly as transportation of deploying troops, land vehicles, aircraft vehicles and other logistics supplies behind the frontlines. Its not until Battle of Minsk in 2139 where Titans become more active role as militarized fortresses in the sky and changed the rules of battlefield.

They were on the Exodus... I'm not sure after seeing the short film though. They might be what Battlefield uses to continue to tell the story

I didn't know my country Singapore will be involved in another Battlefield title again. It do be true Singapore might face rising water levels but recognizing No-Pats and a battle at Brani Island is a question. The Singapore government will have to look through their deeds and Brani island is an industrial port so they would escort him to somewhere safer.

I wonder the same with Spain on this game, since it is my homeland aswell. However, if im not bad, there was a character from the reveal trailer that is actually a Mexican Male "No-Pat", Although not confirmed officialy, you can see him as S.Espinoza, or as many people call him "Sergeant Espinoza", he has an Aztec tattoo mainly alongside a Mexican flag tattoo. The Aztec Tattoo is shown on the dog-tag scene as he steals the dog-tag of a soldier. Meanwhile, the Mexican flag tattoo is shown on the tornado scene at the end, you can see it since he stares at the tornado like: 0_0.

@@XaviMD3KB: I’m a Hispanic born in Brownsville Texas, while my father born in Matamoros Tamaulipas Mexico, and Mother in Naolinco Mexico. We travel between the U.S.A and Mexico constantly during most of my childhood. We go visit my Sister to a little town known as Tres Valles 2 hours from Veracruz, and we also pay visit to the rest of my Uncles and cousins within a town hidden within the mountains known as Naolinco in which is 1 hour from Xalapa. But if you ask me this two cities and two towns might be some of the few save havens if 2042 actually comes to pass. Google them and let know what you think. 😉

If I hear correctly, during the video there is music playing in the background which sounds like the music player in bf1 usually during desert maps. Am I correct?

Dude I really enjoyed this video. I started having a dialogue in my head as to how we got here? I had to remind myself, "Dude this is a game, but it feels so real". Regardless of why its happening, the climate is changing and will cause global conflict for resources.
