    This game is a beautiful example of the power of force moves. I remember Levy always reminds us of finding checks, captures, and forced. I never understood forcing moves until this video. This game is incredible to watch and without Levy’s commentary, I would’ve never understood or know about this game. Thank you for educating everybody on this channel!

    @@HarunX57zt Hm. I guess I found out what I did wrong, I always lost in 4 moves by sacrificing a pawn (and somehow I sacrificed the king on the same move, I am the best at sacrificing) So queen first or king, no pawns?

    I'm loving these game reviews! It could be cool if you lined up a couple of strategically or tactically thematic games and went into detail on e.g. how an isolated d pawn can be a help or a hindrance in different positions - I feel like that'd combine these great game reviews with the lesson videos you've been doing already!     What about the Polish Immortal when Miguel Najdorf sacrificed a lot of material just to deliver the final mate with a pawn? You could call it David and Goliath referring to the type of checkmate that was delivered. Also Rubinstein’s Immortal was pretty amazing.

    Day 86: Of requesting Levy to cover opposite coloured bishop endgames. Especially when you have a slight material advantage of being up by two or three pawns against your opponent and you both have opposite coloured bishops as well.

    @@Alkuf100 How do you know it's boring, clown? Also you do realise that Bishop endgames are the second most common piece endgames after Rook endgames, right. Plus you do know that Levy has yet still to cover the basics of any Bishop endgames in general. The only piece endgames he has covered are King and Rook endgames. Levy has still yet to post up videos on not just Bishop endgames, but also for Queen and Knight endgames too.

    @@m_uz1244 Yet another idiotic statement. What you utterly fail to realize is that endgames are an essential part of the game. It doesn't matter if you get a slight material advantage of say one or two pawns from the opening or middlegame if you're unable to convert said advantage. Endgames are an essential part of the game on how to convert said advantage, if you're unable to checkmate or make your opponent resign during the opening or middlegame.

    Giannis (or Ioannis, if you prefer) showed me the game right after it was played- we were teammates at Peristeri Chess Club back then and we had won the Greek Team Championship (Giannis at first board and my Patzery at the second). I was still FM, and Giannis untitled, but higher rated- he had just repatriated from Georgia . He was proud of it, despite the fact he was on the losing side. It's truly an amazing game, an all time classic.

    Wow, this Gotham guy is great! I don't know him and I can barely play chess, but this video was in my Home and, when I opened it and noticed it was 17 minutes, I did not think at all that I would have watched even half of it. With my suprise, not only I watched it all, but I even enjoyed it! I can't understand how he can be so quick yet so clear at the same time: as a total ignorant, I can guarantee you he explained the whole game brilliantly. What a nice gem I found...
