Dogs are especially very faithful to their masters. Much more faithful than humans in general.

As in death ,my dog stayed with me for a year after he died suddenly. He alerted me several times.until one day I saw him ,apposed to hearing him.He appeared to me as the nursery rhyme, the cow jumped over the moon.It was a happy but sweet bitter moment.miss my little gizmo so much. Jut thought Ide share.

My childhood dog saved my sisters and I from being potentially hit by a car when we were in diapers, he was my angel then and he still is now ❤️🙏🏼 wish he was still here

What Django did for the father and son was exactly what happen to me and my mom on Christmas Eve night and our little dog was a Yorkshire name Rag and dad was working that night. These pets are so amazing

How awesome are both these dogs and their owners! I love seeing people who love their animals as much as they deserve. Glad the kitties got out ok too. Love this show

I can't stand that veterinarian that keeps giving a feedback about animals as if we don't know what she's talking. She says the same thing about every and each animal.

I understand the depth of losing a dog. Sorry for your loss of the wonderful pup he was.

I truly hate that our dogs can’t live as long as we can. My English mastiff is my absolute best friend and has saved my life many times! Knowing that one day I will have to live without her is already heartbreaking. I don’t think I’ll ever want another dog after her. There’s no way I’ll have an attachment with another dog like I do with her. There’s just no way. So I savor every day I have with her. She’s already 10 years old. I have no idea wheee the time went. Anyone that has a big dog like this, knows that they don’t live very long lives. However, my English mastiff is 10 years old but VERY healthy! I keep it that way so she lives the longest happiest life she could possibly live. She is definitely one of my children.

My cat Warned me for a fire that almost Broke out in the house. Smoke was everywhere and My cat let me know that i needed to follow him. It was just in time

Me too.It brought tears to my eyes.. I have 4 dogs and I love them all..I am disabled and they mean the world to me. When I cry in pain and my one dog knows it she comes up lays on my chest and kisses me like Mom it will be ok.. I would be lost.. These stories were beautiful..I loved them..

My cats a hero. She saved me from 3 suicide attempts she made me rethink, and I always said I can wait for her.

My Giant Schnauzer, Libby, saved my life by biting my face and pulling my hair to wake me up when my home was in flames. I lost Libby and 5 more animals ( my parrots and my prairie dog.)but I was able to save my 5 surviving Giants making 3 trips thru the flames before fire dept arrived in Jan 2000. Dog Fancy magazine did an edition on animal heroes and my Libby's heroic actions to save my life were one of the feature stories along with several other life saving hero dogs. I, too, am a professional groomer of 40 years. I also became a state approved grooming school here in Texas, The HipDog School of Grooming Arts for a few years. I'm retired from grooming and showing my beloved Giants now and have an organic farm and take care of my husband with ALS.

i've been watching these types of videos for a very long time, and every time there is usually a dog with a "golden retriever" descent. Bases on personal experience and the stories i've heard from these youtube stories, i've come to the conclusion that dogs, especially retriever varieties, have a special innate connection to their owners. its as if, even though they are a dog, they are smart enough to know when we are happy and/or sad. Its as if the dog can sense the sadness of their owner. I cant even explain how happy it makes me feel to hear this story. animals can make a very special connection to their owners: a connection that is as strong as the connection between a mother and child. Any dog/cat/animal who is brought up as a pet (or any animal for that matter), should be treated as a part of the family. animals aren't just something we should take for granted...

I saved my dog's life by shielding his neck from an attack pit bull. The dog bit my hand instead of wrapping it around my dog's neck. The owner of the pit was trying to hold me back as his dog jumped on mine. I shoved my elbow in his gut, and I managed to get between his pit and my dog. As he was going to bite his neck, I put my hands around my dog's neck to shield him. I had 15 stitches and a safe dog. The doctor in the ER said I was lucky.

This happened the exact day I was born!

We don't deserve animals but I'm glad we have them did the cats get out of the fire too

My dog marble my loyal best friend he kept company and protect me. Until now I still cannot forget him. My beloved dog who passed away last March he be gone but never forgotten.

I had one his name was Jeffery...he could talk...he could say "I love you", "my momma", "hellooo", "me too" and once when I asked him how he got outside he said" I don't know"... I miss him so very much.

I like the veterinarian, she really knows a lot about animals and knows a lot about animal behavior and how they react to different situations

The second story is why I'm convinced everyone who has access to a pool (or any large body of water, pond, lake etc . . .) should have at minimum a basic knowledge of water safety. The guy got lucky the dog heard him and was insistent on going to help but if he had some basic water safety knowledge he could have simply flipped onto his back in the water and floated till he gets his bearings in the water then kick his way over to an edge and get out via a ladder or stairs or at least get over to the shallow end where he'd be able to stand. When people panic in the water is when they drown, so if you instead of panicking calm down and just float on your back, you'll survive, this is what I was taught at swimming lessons as a kid, we were even taught how to react if we fell in similar to how this guy did (head first) your natural instinct is to panic, but if you just calm down and float on your back you will float, people are naturally buoyant, the time people sink like a stone is when they freak out, by floating on your back you make yourself as big as possible to give yourself enough floating ability to get yourself out of danger.

My German shepherd shadow work up the entire family barking cause we had a shed a pretty big wooden she'd built next to the neighbors and the neighbors smoked in there and left a burning cigarette and it was like a cabin on fire our neighbors plastic siding melted off our house was smoking and hot luckily my mom was a firefighter and she got the back hose and wet down the back of the house then gave me the task of doing it after she soaked me with the hose then she got up on the roof with the front hose and wet down the roof cause embers were flying everywhere.

I will risk my life to save each and every one of my animals. 3 cats, 2 dogs, a ferret and 6 guinea pigs.
