We had a MASSIVE German Shepherd that would simply pick me up by the scruff of my clothing and return me to my designated spot if I got up and wandered off when I was knee-high, I think he knew what kind of beating I would've gotten if I had wandered off. He was so good in so many ways, RIP.🙏

This old portuguese man broke his leg on his farm, and he only stayed alive long enough for someone to notice he was absent for several days because he's little female dog kept him warm during the night, and during the day she went and got oranges and other fruits and vegetables so he could eat something. A little dog, that's all it took to keep him alive, amazing.

That is so neat those dogs deserve the glory they put their lives before anyone else.

Wow! I'm never a person that are fun of dogs or animals! But by watching these survival clips of animals change my whole concept on dogs, I can't believe they are that smart, oh my gosh, so amazing! It brought tears to my eyes watching these stories, I'm thinking twice about getting a dog😭 they are awesome creatures I always criticize people for acting as if dogs are humans but I now realize why!

Smart dogs knew they were lost and stay put.There was a guy lost in the jungle he didn't stay put and keep walking he got rescued after a month.

I love dogs n cats they're soo smart n very loyal

My family and I live on a 68 acre farm surrounded by miles of forest. We have two dogs, one is a hound mix and the other is a pittie. For a fun exercise that our dogs love to do, we play a sort of extreme hide and seek lol. I'll tell my husband or one of our kids to let the dogs out half an hour or so after I leave the house and, in that time, I'll hide somewhere in the fields or forest, always somewhere different. Once the dogs are let out, they pick up my scent almost immediately and set out to find me. We do this at least once a week and they always find me within 10 minutes or less, even when I'm hiding a mile from our house. The main goal is to exercise the dogs in a way that they seem to really enjoy, but a secondary benefit is that it's training them to find their humans, which is a skill that could save a life when you live in an area like we do.

I asked if they were CONCERNED about the kid because the person said they came straight to the comments because of the dogs and NOT because they were interested in the story about how the kid ended up in trouble! It was a joke because the insinuation was that they cared more about the dog than they did about the kid - hence the LOL. I KNOW that they could tell the kid lived from the title! Aww that's not nice. When her involvement has no emergencies, there's not need for help. But as soon as your beloved pet sees you truly need help they will try. Because they love you. And don't like it when you hurt, lost, or being tormented .

Now day, that babysitter would be Jail, even though she did nothing wrong.

She didn't. She took him inside the house when she went on to check for the baby, but the toddler sneak out of the house using the dog door thingy, and she wasn't aware of it.
