I loved that the first lady wouldn't leave her dog, dogs are fantastic animals they make your life far richer.
This old lady has me cracking up. She's so precious.
THAT WOMAN THREATENED A DIVORCE 😭💀 she is too adorable

People underestimate cats, they do love their humans and they are very clever in their own right. The fact that the kitty even saved her turtle friend too, what a sweet baby 🥺❤
"if you don't follow me, I'm getting a divorce" 😂
The icestorm depicted in the first part of this video is terrifying. You really cannot fathom the rage of the ice and wind. I am a fromer trucker. Here in Sweden our big rigs weigh 60 metric tons (132.000 lbs) when fully loaded. Length is 24 meters (78 feet.) At this time I was driving hazmat and pertolium tanker trucks in Gothenburg. We were 2 guys going to fill up a couple of big diesel depots on a gigant wood industry this night. My mate went first, me second. This makes a space of maybe 15 minutes between us. When I got to a big suspension bridge I felt the traction slip like crazy. Diffed it out, checked the outside temp. It was well above freezing. Sometimes bridges get slippery due to wind passing over it. Not even out of the city yet and my mate calls me hysterical telling me to lower my speed ASAP. It was so slippery you wouldn't be able to even stand upright on your feet. My mate pushes on as I turn of the highway to stay safe and wait for his report. He gets back to me telling it's raining instant ice! Sure I've seen this ice before, but never when it's forming. His rear view mirrors cannot heat fast enough to clear the ice. The windshield wipers are getting frozen over and slowing down. I call our dispatch in Stockholm, 500 Km away to warn about this weather. Dispatcher checks the forecast and says -"You guys should have well above +5*C tonight." I explain that yes, the temp gauge shows +5*C but it's raining instant ice. He switches me to be the one going first to scout the conditions out. Our journey was not even 80 Km in total which should take 1 hour to drive. Now I'm in the lead. My wipers are dying fast. The ice on the rear view mirrors are well over 3 inches thick. On uphills I cannot do anything but diff and floor it. Everything starts to overheat due to no airflow. So on downhills I just coast very slowly not to pickup any speed since the 60 tons does that all by itself. I reach the industry. It took nearly 3 hours... My mate was grounded until I called it safe. When I jumped out of the truck I got to see the full force of the ice. It covered everything, the radiator, mirrors, wheel wells, cabling, etc. Everything was covered in 4 inch thick ice. I called dispatch to tell him I cannot unload since everything is frozen shut. We wait it out. After just a short while you could physically feel that something changed. The ice suddenly melted rapidly as warm rain started pouring down. In the middle of winter. It took us all night shift to deliver these 2 truckloads of diesel. This is one of the worst conditions I have ever driven in. I would never attempt this with a empty truck. Stay safe outhere aslong as winter is here.

KaxLon - Men and Women Who, Like You, Drive “Big Rigs”...Just Amazes Me. Hat’s Off & A Nod-Of-Excellence with a Firm Handshake For You mY Friend...And ALL Truckers, Who Risk Their Lives, Driving Big Rigs. (I have a few life stories about truckers amazing driving and saving my life, I could write a short story book about them) I’d like to share a story with you. I’ll try to keep it short. I used to work two weeks out of the month in South Carolina and I would drive (in-part) back-and-forth on I 95. Truckers would see me driving The Ford F150 truck I used to drive. I would put my suitcase on the passenger seat With a Big Stuffed Floppy Eared Bunny...I put a Big Cowboy Hat on The Bunny with the Seatbelt on...so it Looked like I had a passenger in the truck with me. They knew my route. They All Always Looked Out & Kept An Eye On Me, They Made Sure I Was Safe, for the better part of three years. One night I decided to drive back home, in the middle of the night, even though I was tired after work. I was so tired, I could not see the lines of the road Clearly, as they were merging together. I tried turning up the radio as loud as it would go. I opened my window to let the cold air in , thinking it would help me stay Alert. I didn’t want to pull over because I was scared. A Trucker saw me swerving and He realized I was in trouble. He came up next to me, got my attention, (Sound his horn) and helped me to pull over. (Me...Realizing I could barely drive at this point) He came up to my window and he said, “You’re Sleep Deprived...I’m going to drive really slow...I want you to follow me off the next exit, where there’s a Walmart, and you have to get some sleep.” I followed him slowly, off the exit, into the Walmart parking lot. “Trucker” had some paperwork he had to do & He parked with his Cab facing my truck, so that he could keep an eye on me & keep me safe, as I got about two hours of Much Needed Sleep. To this day it scares me to think of what would’ve ultimately happened if he had not been there to help me. I will forever be grateful to The Big Rig Driver “Trucker” PeaCe&ReSPeCt, Shelley

If they housed a lot of people in the firehall during the blackout that might not have been possible, I imagine It must have been pretty cramped in there and unfortunately some people are so allergic to dogs a closed room with no air circulation is a death sentence.

Heartwarming! We are closer to animals than we want to admit.
They should've closed all the doors in their home and stayed in a small room. It would keep them warm, put blankets in the floor, and try to set up a fort like enclosure to stay in( like the kind we made as kids in the house). Put material against the windows and doors. It does help:)

I understand the loyalty of dogs, be kind and loving and they will return the affection bestowed upon them. For Tia, Samantha and Shellie, I hope they sued the pant's off their slumlord/landlord. It didn't mention how other tenants may have been affected, but the amount of smoke alone would have done some major damage. And why was there no smoke alarm in her apartment?

Our Lord God can use or will use anyone or anything as his instrument to show men his power to save even from the uttermost, for He is the creator of all.He is the power behind all this, the Creator not the creature, so let's give God the credit, the glory and honor for his great goodness. But why do they have to leave their home in such stormy night?! They could hv called for help or wait
@lifethroughhereyes3958
4 жыл бұрын
They weren’t home to begin with. They were in their ‘animal hospital’, where they had probably no food for humans, limited or no heat (wild animals, plus the power went out) and likely no telephone (and if they had telephone, it might not even work because of the storm Nd/or power outage. It was in a time when there weren’t many cellphones yet) Their home was only 50 foot away, and that’s why they tried to go home.

I don't understand why the couple laid on the floor all night with the dog on top of them. Why didn't they get into bed under the blankets, or snuggle on the couch underneath blankets. It doesn't make sense that they laid on the floor all night with no blankets. Also the lady said that she was 90lbs, so laying on a floor would have been very painful with her being so frail. The large dog laying on top of her would have made it difficult for her to breathe. I think she embellished her story. She's a sweet lady though.

Yep, some serious sensationalism going on with each of these stories. But it's to be expected. It's made for tv, targeted at people that already have the disposition to believe this type of stuff. I've seen dogs do some amazing things, for sure. Cats on the other hand are only interested in themselves

please dont watch this and go get a 1/2 wolf 1/2 shepard. thats too much dog for 99% of people and would most likely turn into a nightmare without proper training from a very young age
