Thanks for showing me this strat! For people having a hard time, just EX dp on your wake up a lot of the times he wont block and lets you land a drive rush hooligan off that knockdown.

Alternatively you can spam the first super or drive reversal on wake up. He only rarely blocks it if you wait a little with the timing. Because i’m pretty sure the CPU reads your inputs.

I hear that Three Houses music, yessir! I wish I knew about the Cammy tech sooner. Definitely just got bodied in the Akuma mirror until I racked up enough points lol. Hoping they have a giant attack for the rest of the roster and give EX colors to everybody. This was a dope addition to the hub

It fucking worked! Did this using Cammy for 30 minutes. Its not as braindead, the AI sometimes jumps, but with some blocking and EX DP I got the color! Thanks!

@@chiball Don't play the move...cheese it...the fact that you don't know how to cheese his butt slam one means ur a clean good spirited player online lol....not like the dirty ones like me...practise the move till u get it down then try it...note - if ur avatar is high rank the avatar vs Akuma is sligtly easier than the normal character battle against him..but u have to have unlocked the move for ur avatar.U have to know wen to switch between light medium & heavy butt slam...u keep doing one & the cpu logs the pattern n counters it

you can also pick blanka, spam HP ball, when he goes in air use LK up ball (it goes through his fireballs and pretty much goes fullscreen), you can get pretty free wins like this.

-Make sure you command grab as early as possible -Never throw tech, just block and wakeup dp/super -Try not to stick out button The cheese works but its not easy He kills you in two interactions

Helped a lot. I hit the daily limit pretty fast. It isn't foolproof and I can't just throw it out willy nilly but it was effective enough that I was able to rack up a lot of points quickly.

@@XIII_Vexx Welcome, there is a daily quest for doing it once with the avatar and once with the roster characters but these are one time daily quests just for playing a match regardless of if you win. After that whether you play avatar or characters doesn't matter so much as whether you win or not, losses are 300 points and wins are 4000 regardless I think but I haven't won with the avatar, only the method from the vid

You can do same in Avatar Battles. CPU akuma is WAY easier and yo udon't need to cheese him and you get same amount of points. For Daily Cap you need 10 wins.

The best strategy I found is to use Manon's command throw, an anti-air with COMPLETE invincibility, and an easy to combo lvl 1 Super. A dive attack that knocks down is useful as well.

You are a godsend. I had no idea they had an exclusive color to this event. I love this stuff but stop keeping up with events because of the lousy rewards. I woulda missed out hard. Kinda bummed it doesnt carry over to his other costumes though.

haha glad I could help! Yeah I'm with you, I've been skipping out of every SF event, but since I plan on playing Akuma in the long term I had to look into this one

takes like 30 min & you can do it in 1 session - also works if you switch to modern, & then if he breaks out of the loop toward the end of his life you can lvl 3 super whenever he throws a fire ball

Unlocked in less than an hour if only I could upvote more than once

how do i beat whitebeard with modern luffy?? whitebeard out frames even my fastest normal which is gomugomu pistol and i have no other fast hitting options against him that beat his Gura Gura no Mi. whiteboard can throw out earthquakes i cant do anything, not even block

You can kill him easier in the avatar fight under his legs. My avatar has all the heal replenish gear on and I just out last his low hp. I'm a plat 4-5 rank on chun li. My avatar runs that plus some dhalsim diagonal fire and a manon throw. And one of Ken's kicks whose move fits. Of course I am level 100 with all the boosts from sirn boxes (I don't think I got all them but I got tired of world tour)

i just fight him with the wolrd tour character, both his AI and his damage are worse for whatever reason and he just explodes in two simple combos

Wasn't gonna bother, but you made it look easy so thanks I got the color. The M version of hooligan seemed more consistent to me. Akuma would sometimes interrupt the H version. How the heck are you supposed to do this normally lol.

Yeah fighting him normally would take ages to actually grind enough tickets haha. I hear it's easier for avatar battles if your avatar is level 100 but mine was nowhere close

The only flaw in that plan is when Akuma throws a ground fireball, which isn't all that often. It is a good option to catch him doing his teleport, though.

I want people to know the Cammy strat is still very hard, it's like Akuma learns and hell Start freaking jump hadokening right when he reads the input you're about to put in. Yeah this works kinda but you're still gonna have to be lucky, I've been trying this strat for about 30 minutes and I've taken a round a couple times but still haven't taken the game once yet.

Getting the first grab can be hard, but once you do it should be very rare he gets out unless you do the command grab too slow

Or you can get points by, you know, fighting other people on a cabinet.

I did it with jp spikes and ghost

There is a daily point limit, you can do it over two days Edit: you can get the costume in 1 day tho just not all the drive tickets

Or you could just fight him in avatar. He is super easy there and also gives you 4000 points. Avatars are broken. You can have 30k health. More attack and defense and allot of moves and broken combo's.

It works, sometimes…

I just found it easier to beat him with a 100 level avatar

Okay this works well, but it's very hard to actually get him in the loop. If you get one Hooligan throw in though then that's game, but he can two touch you very easy, and if you're in the corner and he decides to block DP it's over. I find after reversal DP into EX hooligan the throw works most of the time, but he likes to jump.You just have to delay your next throw because it's a longer knockown. I'm glad that they have proper unlockables in the game, but gee whiz man, this shit is fucking whack. And it's timed, which is super unfortunate. Beggars can't be choosers though I guess. *edit* Okay I got the thing. This was awesome I hope they do it more.
