This is one of my favorite movies 😍😍😍😍😍 I'm Portuguese so I understand everything they say and it's so good! Amazing actors! The second movie is so freaking good too!!!

I love how this movie makes you feel the tension and chaos at the beginning. I still think the moment that sets me off the most is when that guy falls in the stairwell. At that point, I can't help but panic a bit.

You need to watch the sequel rec 2 for the answers . It takes a very unique and interesting take on the zombie genre very watchable ..

This is one hell of a movie, impeccable

This is one of my top 5 favorite horror movies. The only times a horror movie makes me jump, which is hard to find in other scary movies.

I even think that Outlast took inspiration from this! :D you should see the Behins the scenes it was such a great production!

The whole series is wild, great reaction dude!

I watched the remake, QUARANTINE from 2008 on my DVR last night on AMC.

I watched this in a horror movie class last semester lol

Even if you don't watch the whole series, PLEASE at least watch the 2nd one. It is VERY closely tied in with the first one, taking place on the ssme night.

I remember downloading this on pirate bay when it first came out and proceeded to shit myself as I had never seen something with such visceral horror before. I felt trapped in there with them and legitimately felt sick with fear.

I remember back in school people were talking about this as the scariest thing ever. Clearly, it isn't, very watchable, but the tension is so well done and obviously that first half hour hits a bit more post-pandemic. I do also like that even with the lab it was only sourcing something beyond the realm of humans. After seeing the world get fucked up for a couple years from a virus that just mutated and hopped from the wild it gets a bit annoying when every zombie origin has to be made by people.

I would've quietly barricaded myself in my partment and hidden in the furthest room from the front door long before half this stuff happened. Maybe make a bed in the bathtub and stay in the bathroom so I can still have water and a toilet. I like this series, I hope you watch more but I get it if its not your thing. The later films aren't 100% found footage like the first and second. It's an interesing fusion of horror subgenres.

The American film was almost a shot for shot remake so if you wish them to speak English, that would the one to see I suppose. I personally like hearing the Spanish along with the English subs. Just gives a different vibe than what I'm used to and the actors were all terrific as well.

You can't just shoot someone who's sick. Yeah in a legit zombie situation, totally. But in a situation like this, where its ambiguous, and all you know is that people are sick.... *people* You def wouldn't be shooting them. It's easy to say that when it's a movie that you can see is trending toward zombie situation, but IRL if someone is sick you're innately going to want to help them, period. That's just how the cookies crumblone. Once the SHTF on this it was time to start shooting, but before that you can't know it's zombies and that it's kill or be killed.
