This Fishing Rig catches EVERYTHING! Saltwater Inshore Fishing

Ойын-сауық

This fishing rig consists of a weighted jig-head and a fishing bait or lure of choice. This is a very reliable fishing method for all sorts of saltwater fish. The jighead is a classic lure, it’s essentially a weighted hook that can help you get your bait to the bottom. It can also be used in combination with super salty squid or soft plastics. Sink it, swim it, bounce it, this jig catches everything! Give it a try y’all!

Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit kzread.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

Hey Skipper!!! I watch every video you put out there. Sometimes I like to do a deep dive and come back to these videos. PLEASE COME TO CENTRAL OREGON and teach me how to fish!!! I live in the city of Waldport between the Pacific coast and Alsea Bay. It is a fishing paradise out here, but I don't catch anything! I'm disabled and have a very hard time getting out and getting back home but my passion is fishing! I WILL NEVER GIVE UP!!! Please come this way soon and tell me what it is I'm doing wrong. The lead heads are a staple in my tackle box, the bottom of my center console, my truck door pocket and my glove box. I buy white or red, I don't care about the eye. Use most commonly 1/4 oz. or 3/8 oz., mostly depends on where I want to fish it in the water column how hard the current is and the wind/line combination..it needs to be castable... with a 3"-5" grub with the squiggle tail in either; see through bright green with the glitter, solid white, or the gulp bright green swimming mullet(squiggle tail) .. steady retrieve at all depths works good, dragging on the bottom too. My favorite way is to pull it, then reel up the slack, pull it then reel up the slack. Make it 'jump'' to you, along the bottom. Slow or fast retrieve is up to the fish. (For bigger fish, add a trailer like a minnow, or shrimp to the hook, or 6" x 1/2" squid or octopus or fish skin(my favorite), and work the bottom for monster flounder, drum, and beyond... This works in nearly all water.

Shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. There’s shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There’s pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That, that’s about it.

If you use jig heads with a fluke-like tail in waters like this, it helps to let it sit a bit longer on the floor every now and then. Flounder usually hangout in these types of spot and (from my experience) they seem to get lazy and only chase it in short burst.

How is your line setup for this? Since it’s weighted do you need a egg or torpedo led? Or just main line straight to jig head? I live in Hawaii, never used these with success, but barely used them.

If your missing bites with a long swim style jig setup try a trailer hook.
