Fishing is tough. Especially in public waters, but all your hours on the water should be counted as practice for when there are fish actively biting!

I’d highly recommend picking up a shimano slx. For $100 dollars it’s amazing. For me personally I like my chronarch mgl a lot

I run mostly 30lb for frogs and then 60lb for heavy punching

Definitely think it was a mixture of both, however to get that many species to commit on one tree branch especially after them seeing each other being pulled out the water must mean something..
