You are so talented at decorating. I know you have mentioned you don't feel you are - but seriously. I mentioned last week how pretty your house looks and you have a great eye and flair for it. Now the Mom and Grandma in me needs to tell you - please be careful balancing on things to hang up or take down. I used to do the same thing at your age - but one bad fall will change that. I have a little step stool I take into rooms. It is a PITA to get out but your safety means everything. You know I mean this out of concern and not to be snarky. I love your channel! Have a great weekend! It is snowing here.

Good job. Video reminded me of my years of being a homemaker and stay at home Mom. I would love to have a clothes line again. It’s crazy the things you miss as you age and your life changes. Standing at your kitchen sink washing dishes. As you look out your window. Your clothes blowing in the breeze. The cool air on your face from the open window. Hearing children in the distance. To me that’s happiness. I’m happy I had that at one time :) Thank you for the video Laura.

I totally agree with all the comments using the instant pot. I have my own fresh eggs for years and always struggled with peeling them . About a month ago I had someone tell me to use the 5/5/5 method in the instant pot. It's 5 min. Pressure 5 min. Rest then release and 5 min. In ice water. They come out perfect. I will always do this method from now on! Be sure to add 1 cup of water to the pot!

I use my instant pot to do my hard boiled eggs. I place them on the trivet that came with the pot, add a little water enough to cover the bottom of the pan but not cover the eggs ( a pint maybe) pressure for 4 minutes, allow to come off pressure 4 or 5 minutes before manually releasing steam. Place in ice bath 4 or 5 minutes. The peals come off so easily!

I have found a nice way to peel eggs and it really does work great! Boil your water first, THEN, put your eggs gently in the water. Boil for 12 minutes. Remove them and TAP THE BIG END OF THE EGG ON THE COUNTER JUST TILL IT POPS. Then you put them in ice water! I hope you try this way and I hope it's easier for you!

If you have an instant pot, I put my eggs in for 7-8 min., then put them in ice cold water for 10 min. Peeling is very easy.

I take my curtains down in the summer and put them up in the colder months. It lets in so much sun in the summer without them and makes the rooms cozier in the winter when I put them back up!! I too have a backyard clothesline. Love it!!

Hello from Canada. You are looking so pretty Laura. I have a suggestion for your sunroom. When we had ours, my husband built frames for the winter months. He used heavy duty plastic in the frames. We installed a wood stove which allowed us to use it until the temperatures dipped into the minus 20 Celsius. A couple of Christmases we used it and it was a delightful and cozy Christmas day. It also allowed me to not have to store the bulky cushions and furniture that we previously had to store. Have a great day. Hugs from Canada

I put a little handful of baking soda into my eggs to boil. Bring to a boil, turn off heat and cover 10 minutes. Also for years before l learned this I could never get them to boil right. A friend from church told me to lay them on the side, cut into half with a big knife and use a spoon to slip around the egg and pop it out. Works every time😍 The only difference is the shape of the deviled egg. ❤❤🙏🙏xxoo

Hello from Nebraska. We have had a couple "fake spring" days and are expecting 7" of snow starting Sunday night. But 2 weeks ago we got 18" of snow and it melted in less than a week. So any moisture we get is so badly needed as we are so dry. You have motivated me to do some spring cleaning too and actually moving some things around to deep clean. Your sandwiches look so good. We love deviled eggs too! It's great that your children love them so much. Thank you for sharing for cooking ideas! I so enjoy your videos. Hope you are feeling well!!
