I always wanted a large family. I married my husband almost 20 years ago and he had two little boys. The doctors always told me i would never have children. I adopted my boys in 2009 ... I found out i was pregnant two months before the the adoption was final. I was pregnant with a little boy. Now my grown boys have both given me grand boys 😁. My oldest married a wonderful young lady who had two little girls... Finally have some pink in my life . Love your videos. Thank you for sharing

A slow Saturday sounds nice. We have ten boys and I strive for slow Saturdays. Any way momma, love your videos and your children are so sweet.

10 boys, no girls? I had 2 years ago and I so wanted a girl. I ended up getting 2 grand daughters, 1 from each of my boys. I miss seeing pink around me, so it’s been so nice to have grand daughters. I love my 2 grandsons also of course, reminds me of my boys, however not sure I could deal with 10 boys. You’re a special mom to have so many children and boys to boot. Maybe one day, you’ll get some little grand daughters too. Take good care, “boy” mama!

This week my daughter painted the hallway/shelves where we store quick grab tea bags/rice/popcorn, etc. all white. It’s so bright that I can see what’s on the shelves without the light on during the day. I love a clean, organized space and expired food items are going to the chickens as a treat 😊 Thank you for the candle lesson! With an earthquake today (NJ - 4.8 mag.) jar of comfrey oil fell exploding everywhere so what’s left will have to be used this weekend to make lotion and I’m rethinking my shelving situations.

You would save more money by buying your coconut oil, coffee, froz veg, maple syrup from costco!! 😊 Even your cheddar & butter might have been a bit less there. When it comes to store bought groceries i buy most things from aldi and costco so im pretty familiar with the prices. :)

The flower arrangement is beautiful❤ I have purple, pink, and coral colored tulips, wild daisies, and purple irises blooming. I went out & cut some for several arrangements yesterday. The shredded cheese in the bag uses an anti caking agent which i feel changed the texture and taste a bit. Not to mention that anti caking agent has sugar in it. We dont need anymore sneaking in our food, so i shred mine as well.

You can rinse that coating off if you need to use the pre shredded

What a great idea, love the candle molds being used, its great to be able to easily reuse candle molds because it can be messy, tacos are a great recipe have to alter a bit because am vegan (no dairy, meat) but its such a great recipe especially with it getting warmer!

Kids! Lol I’m short in stature, so I used to alphabetize my spices. That made it easier to reach in and know what I’m grabbing without needing to look. My boys used to go in and mess them all up just to mess with me. They thought I was just being too particular by having them alphabetized. I’m hoping when they marry, their wives will be short too. They will learn when the wives call them to the kitchen every time they need something from cabinets above their heads. 😂

I recently learned that shredded cheese from the grocery store has an ingredient in it called 'Na tamycin' which is a prescription drug used for eye infections. So, no more pre shredded cheese for me!

Seriously. those TACOS! Delicious! I want some for lunch now! 😁 I know I keep saying this, but your house is looking sooooo cozy and lovely and YOU are looking radiant! Happy Weekend Laura!

Love your videos. My question is: what are the jars above your stove? I assume they are spice jars but where did you get them and what size are they? I would love to keep my spices there also.

You will find that if you keep daffodils away from other flowers and in a vase of their own everything will last much longer.

A deep freezer is a term for any freezer... an upright freezer is a deep freezer as well😊... so both are deep freezers. One is just a chest, and the other is an upright. The term “deep freezer” used to mean an appliance with colder temperatures and a faster freezing process than fridge freezers. 🙂

I thought maple syrup needed to be refrigerated after opening. I noticed that you had your in your pantry.

Yes, I’ve always been told the same, once opened up, best to keep in fridge. I don’t think it’ll go bad or anything, but I think it’s bc it tends to turn lumpy or sugary. It doesn’t do so if kept in fridge I’m told. With so many kids and big meals that you serve every day Laura, I doubt you have to worry about that though. Lol.
