I had a friend many years ago that made this wonderful dessert, it was so amazing. I have wanted to try this and just have felt intimidated. It would be great to try this time of year with all the berries coming soon. I love that you always try things. It doesn't matter its the fun of trying new things!!! Love the table clothes.

Pavlova is a regular dessert here in Australia, certainly a favourite at big gatherings or BBQs. New Zealand claims at as their own, but we Aussies like to claim it as our own, it’s been an age long debate 😂 The secret to a god ‘pav’ is to beat the egg whites until stiff, looking at your mix, I would say it could have done with a couple more minutes of beating. And it should be cooked in a very slow oven, after it’s cooked, it’s left in the oven to cool with the oven door left ajar. The perfect pav has a crisp outer shell and a soft sweet middle. Yours looked amazing. Well done for your first try. Yum, it’s my favourite dessert. 😊

I think your “ Pavlova” turned out beautifully

White sofas are beautiful, they look so pretty in people's homes.. buy i could never have a white piece of furniture! I have small grandkids and a messy husband, it wouldn't do well😄 I do like a lighter color fabric.. and definitely still have to do a good clean! I've been thinking about making my own cleaner, everyone that makes it seems to really like it. I love older homes, especially farm houses. They have so much character, wood floors, beautiful moldings, solid wood doors, big windows, and if original the beautiful hardware, sinks & tubs.. and those amazing porches!! I love transom windows too! Ohhh goodness, sweet baby in the basket..too cute😊 As you're washing the metal tea pitcher i think of my mama. Growing up our tea pitcher was just like that one! Mama would make a pitcher of sweet tea every Sunday after church to have for lunch, she made the best sweet tea. Now everyone thinks my tea is the best, i make it just like mama did😊 I kept that pitcher for years and planted a flower in it every spring, it got missing in our move somehow. If I ever find one thrifting, its mine! I'm 60yrs old..i know all about the messes😉😄 Wow.. that's a great deal, a whole box for $5!! The sketch its really pretty! I love finding pretty linens and & bedding, especially handmade quilts.. most all of mine are thrifted. I just bought a really pretty handmade quilt for my bed and a baby sized one last weekend! Perfect colors for spring! The the linens you got are beautiful! Ohhh my.. the stitched portrait is beautiful!!❤ I love hand stitched pieces! I've never had pavlova, but it sure looks delicious😋 I love roasted marshmallows.. I'm sure I'd love this! Wow what a sweet message from the grandparents🥹 What you created for the anniversary was so special & thoughtful.. it all put a lump my throat & tears to my eyes😢 HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you guys. hope it was amazing and blessings for many more years🙏❤ TFS!

Pavlova is named after a Russian ballerina Anna (Ahha) Pavlova. I don't know if you knew this or not. I love history and couldn't help myself.

Did you know you can stretch Mrs. Meyers hand soap by using a foaming soap dispenser? I learned this trick on another you tube channel. Just add 1 inch of Mrs. Meyers hand soap to a foaming hand soap bottle. Fill it the rest of the way with water and gently shake.

Beautiful video! My cleaning routine: I clean the house every Monday. That includes bathrooms, mopping, vacuuming. I then spot clean as needed the rest of the week. Then. The first Monday of each month I deep clean. Moving sofas to vacuum behind, vacuuming the sofas, etc. I have one kiddo who is 15 so the need to clean isn’t as much as years past. I know there are lots of cleaning practices but this works for me

Anniversary blessings

I am 53 and I have chronic pain so it takes me a lot longer to clean now and I babysit my grandchildren 2yr and 3yrs old I've had them since they were 6 weeks old I love my home 🏡 it is 1600 Sq ft and just big enough for me to care for Thank you for your videos I also have those books and I love them 💖

My husband served his mission in New Zealand. They always have pavlova. In fact I just assumed it was a New Zealand dessert. I guess not! It is his favorite but I’ve never made it even after 27 years of marriage! His friend, who also served in New Zealand ten years before him, always makes it for him! I guess I should get brave and try it one of these days.

I've never seen a pavlova recipe that calls for the cornstarch mixed with water. Always just added in dry but with that said, yours turned out and mine came out like a pancake. 😄

I think your pavlova looks amazing . I usually make a raspberry or some sort of coulis to drizzle over it as I think it makes it look pretty , also passion fruit seeds can look nice . I have also never made a pavlova that hasn't cracked I think it's quite normal and doesn't matter . Happy Anniversary. Lovely job 🇬🇧 x x x
