This feature is a lifesaver and i've used it many times on gigs, be it for IEM mixes on a X32 rack, or for FOH / live multitrackrecording with a Midas M32R. The way you displayed how it works by showing all the channel strip stuff moving (gate and compressor thresholds, sends volume, etc) was brilliant. Best video / explanation of Re-Gain so far.

WHAT? 🤯 That would be useful for me 2 Weeks ago... Dude, you really have the best and most practical tips for us.. I've been using the mixing station app for 8 years now, and you showed me "new" features like the iDCAs and now the re-gain. I know the x32 and all it's features and never thought about extending the features with the app. Thanks for sharing!! Maybe I should start reading the manuals for the mixing station app 😂

I’m the biggest cheapskate ever known and even I wouldn’t use this app in trial mode. It’s such a good value!

Despite this function - the app is worth every single penny! I‘ve bought the ios and the android version.

Anybody who doesn't pay for this app is literally meaner than the Grinch... this app costs a little more than a fast food lunch, certainly less than dinner at any restaurant, less than a few drinks at a bar... seriously, if you are not willing to pay for this product to support the small independent developer, then you are not actually serious about sound engineering.

If proper gain staging was job one, the inputs would have been fine for the live stream. If the room speakers are too loud, turn down the main outputs but preserve the gain staging for all other feeds. Ideally the main amps need turned down so the mixer main outputs can be turned up to normal levels. Improper gain staging is the number one mistake made by beginning audio engineers. The result is problems with levels in any recording applications, and live stream, and all other sends, including monitors. Start with gain staging first.

Daniel literally has videos on exactly this topic, and stresses the importance of gain staging. Anyway, I just wanted to say how incredibly envious I am of the absolute quality & professionalism of the musicians you must work with. They never sandbag you, they never get drunk & change something as they return from set break, definitely no arrogant, semi famous fools who refuse a sound check. Dang bro... I salute you. Meanwhile, for the rest of us, there is re-gain. Behringer likes this idea so much they are thinking of adding it to a future Wing update. Of course, no real sound engineer uses, uh.... cough, cough, Behringer, right 🤪??
