i too am asking the same question....looking for the answer in the comments. It seems that Luke is not in the second place so they just ignored the issue

Kind of an ass juding on the stones when both athletes slipped at them and got last stones off the starting line in process. Why ref helps Tom and nobody helps Evan? I mean it should be fair so you eighter help both in this situation or just stay passive.

Wow. Some days making one less mistake than the others makes you the best man out there. Absolutely deserved. Luke is a fan favorite for a reason.

Tom got his stone rolled to him, while Evan's wasn't. You guys really had to do a rematch, or something.

I think they decided it doesn't matter because he was gonna be 3rd place no matter what. Sometimes athletes get locked into 3rd place, not able to reach 2nd or slip down to 4th. Like Alexei at the Rogue Invitational.

These 2 are awesome. Their story is so epic. Luke has been the best older brother. I have always wanted these 2 to make it.

Strongman as a sport should be way bigger than it is, it's entertaining as hell!. Tom Stoltman in my opinion has the potential to be the best strongman ever if he keeps doing what he's doing. Congrats to Luke also happy to see the Scots doing so well.

seems a bit ilegal having someone push your stone back to you when your opponent didnt have the same help and seemed like if he did he may have won it because it seemed he had to go run off pretty far for it

It was fantastic to see the pride on Luke and Tom's dad's face.

Amazing competition and just look at the crowd. What a change from worlds strongest man where it seems to be composed of competators friends, family and a few dozen half interested tourists. Brilliant. Bring worlds strongest man to the UK and see crowds.

Bringing it home lads, both done amazing. Really enjoyed watching this the editing format was great.

For Luke I think the odds are against a WSM title now, but you never know with a couple more realistic attempts. He can be so proud of essentially nurturing his brother to two titles though.

Giants and other comps prove on any given day anyone of them can be the strongest! I know wsm is seen as the top dog but a win is a win. Luke is already a champion.

it had to and it seems like his opponent may have won without that assist because he had to run off to find his stone with no help, seemes a bit ducked up if you ask me.

Gavin had a pretty rough 2021 but in last 2 years he's really started improving. 2nd at britain's strongest man 2023, 3rd in his group at WSM 2023, won SCL Serbia, 2nd at the giants live world open, invited and competed at the shaw classic. Also annually mogs wales' strongest man and won UK's strongest man twice.

it can be considered fair because: a) they both messed up so neither should get an advantage over someone who didn't in the form of a rematch where neither messes up and they get a faster time. b) if they did a rematch it would be to find out which one of them comes second... Tom would win... so... nothing changes in the final outcome.

Radzi is an amazing TV presented in the UK and works the channel 5 tv show for giants

he does its just a weak event for him. he recently pulled 400 at the world deadlift champs and got his first pr in years
