@@davidroyale14 cmon, in the end there are plenty powerful plays that the deck can deliver. Drifter + already dead, multiple sack instances of zubera + unearth and viscera seer. at the same time some changelngs could maximize and lower the curve for making more zubera's death.

The fact that you could keep up and rebuild so quickly after repeated land destruction shows the power of Writhing Chrysalis.

Yup, Casacade > Ponza hahaha. Also, It was a card I didn't see in my preview, but it's definitely very strong.

Yet another Pauper deck I'd love to build soon! I find it annoying to find Thermokarst where I live, and its price here made it less favorable to me. I found your version more fun even on a competitive level. Love the video!

I am trying a league with this deck, currently 3-1, the deck feels way more stable than ponza, it's really sweet.

Ive been brewing a very similar deck, but minus the Elvish Visionary, the Galvanic discharge, +4 Glimpse the Impossible, +3 Breath weapon and +1 Colossal Dreadmask honestly it feels really good, im not sure what control is meant to do against cascade lol Glimpse can give you turn 4 Altisaur which feels brutal most of the time, then late game its juicy card advantage

I can see Glimpse, Dreadmask is probably better to run another six mana land cycler as it will do more in that slot.

This version is waaaaaay better but I doubt people will abandon land destruction + arbor elf package.

Also you should try a version of 8 Rat, deck is basically mono black midrange with the core being 4 crypt rat, 4 unearth and 4 toxin analysis

Hi, great deck! I always wanted to play the gruul cascade deck but didn't feel like destroying my friends' lands, this is perfect! Any reason to use lightning bolt and galvanic discharge instead of skred?
