Just a few nights ago Wemby did a between the legs into a crossover step back 3 over kyle anderson. I would say thats becoming a pretty big signature of his and his 3 point percentage off the dribble with almost all of his attempts coming off of the dribble has been 40% he is a goat.

Sochan is 20 too guys. His 3 point shooting has dramatically improved this year. He gets the toughest assignments each game. Sochan is not going anywhere hopefully

Sochan is our second best defender and rebounder and its only his second year. He'll get better probably

Great vid and I totally agree. I'm an oldhead and have been watching the NBA since the late 80's. I have never seen anything like Wembanyama (not even for a rookie, just in general). His skillset and bball instincts are rare, and he makes the best of his natrual gifts. He is scary good already and, if he stays healthy, he is only going to get better. And good point about the matchups with stars, he def got that dawg in him!

Being from the City of St Anthony, I became an ABA fan when the Dallas Chaparrals moved to SA 51 years ago. I had "front row" seats to see the Iceman and James "Captain Late" Silas. Those were the days of the REAL Baseline Bums.

Heads up: Keep an eye on the Spurs Blake Wesley. There's a reason they drafted that speedster. Against Indiana recently, he had a steal at the FT line on the other end of the floor and ran the floor to slam it home in like 3 seconds. My jaw dropped. I think you'll find that highlight on ESPN.

Sochan assignments is to guard the best player of the opposing team. He is learning his offensive abilities like his 80% free throw or his 35% 3 pointers. He is our Draymond. Regardless good reaction.

Pop screwed up putting Sochan at PG. But I say that was Pop "tanking" the team. Some say Pop was experimenting. Yeah, sure. But once PATFO mold the Spurs into a .500 team you will eventually come to love Sochan as a SF-PF depending on matchups. Sochan is going to be a lower maintenance Draymond Green. Possibly a Rodman type known for rebounding and defense than offense, though he will be better than Rodman who didn't seem to want to take shots. And definitely lower mtce than Rodman.

Good content but I can tell you don't watch the SPURS games. We love Keldon as a person but he is a liability. If there is any likelihood that a player from our current core will be dealt, it would be Keldon. Sochan is a SPURS system guy because he is defensive minded which has won him a spot on the roster as long as he continues to hustle on the defensive side of the ball.
