This temperature and humidity monitor is presented by Xiaomi, model Duka Atuman TH3. It is a wireless thermo and hygrometer gauge, meaning, it can connect to the WiFi network of your home and display the outdoor temperature and humidity, as well as the indoor ones.
The indoor temperature and humidity are measured in real time by sensors in the device itself, while the outdoor ones are provided by the internet, through your home WiFi network, from the website seniverse.com, and they are updated once a day at 6 o'clock. If you want to see the current outdoor humidity and temperature (and not the average ones for the day), you just have to take the portable hygrometer outside and see what it shows in the sections for indoor humidity and temperature.
If you don't want to connect to the WiFi, you can use the humidity meter with it's built in functions, which are:
- indoor temperature
- indoor humidity
- time
- date
- year
- day of week
Having high levels of moisture in your home can cause formation of mold and other negative experiences. Having air that is too dry, can make you more prone to infections and itchy skin. This is why monitoring the levels of humidity, using a hygrometer gauge, can be as important, as heating or cooling your home.
The normal levels of humidity in the air depend on different factors, such as, time of the year, and the geographical location you are in, but it is generally accepted, that the optimal level of humidity is between 30% and 50%, and it should not exceed 60%

I live in a converted school bus and we are always in different environments and, we unplug our fridge at night to conserve solar battery power. This Hygrometer would be great for inside our fridge to know how safe our food is or to know about the new location we are in. Very cool thermometer and humidity sensor.
It is great to know that the screen is big which gives out the digital numbers legible in order to see clearly. A device that helps me adjust temperatures to my liking on electronic devices around the house.

Wow. This hydrometer seems very workable to me. I was really looking for this but I was not so sure of this in terms of quality. This seems like a very good one for my needs. This has good sensor based WiFi connectivity. I think this will work well.
