My dog sometimes does that. I Like him but i Dont really Like how any1 can be his owner. If grab him, he becomes yours. Lol. He even takes his walks alone and goes see all his Friends on 3 different towns and then comes back after 2 or 3 hours. Once or twice a random kid would take him home because he was so easily given, But we found him.

U thought the same when I saw all of those cages with multiple dogs in them & im sure the cages were originally built just for a single animal. On KZread I’ve seen multiple videos of people posting “dump locations”(where people frequently go to abandon their dogs) in Texas. I don’t understand why Texas has such a huge problem with this but seeing their shelter jam packed really made it sink in. I’m a delivery driver & work in a really rich area & can’t tell u how much it bothers me to go to all these houses & probably 95% of them have dogs which clearly came from a breeder or pet store. I wish they made restrictions on breeders & pet stores. There is no reason dogs should continue tk be bred when we have to shelter & euthanize so many due to lack of resources & space

Dogs always pick their owners. After my dog passed away I came home and found a sick little puppy in my yard. So I adopted her. 12 years later when she passed away, again I came home to find another puppy that was absolutely dehydrated and hungry in my backyard... 11 years later she's still here next to me. 😀

These puppies are probably told by the previous one that you are a loving owner (because they can perceive ghosts and stuff). Or, people see how you care for them and provide a nurturing figure in their life and then drop a dog in your yard if they know they can’t care for the dog.

Pits are the best dogs. People ruin them. Bring one up right and they become part of the family. Just be careful of what you feed them. Remember, what goes in has to come out. They've been known to clear a room..

I’ve had this happen but unfortunately my parents weren’t having it. She was a German Shepherd puppy, tall but her ears were still flopped over. She just walked up to my door and literally scratched as if she were knocking 🥺! I fed her and even put an old dog house out for her but my parents just did not want a big dog. Lol sobbed on the phone with my dad and after an HOUR of her crying at the front door she finally left. Breaks my heart to think about what might of happened to her

being adopted is like a huge compliment in my opinion, so yeah, congrats to y'all. (it's cats who keep adopting me as much as the other way around but i would totally have a pit too if i had a real yard so they could still run around a little outside or whatever on my low spoon days and they got along. with my current kittehs.) my mama is like "why do you keep getting the strays with health stuff?" because my orange tabby boi has allergies, i've had one who needed steroid shots every january, my first long-term was FeLeuk+, and the one before a too-skinny-then mama calico and her kittens became my current crew developed diabetes because she was at "HOW old is she now?" levels. my mama calico is basically healthy as of last vet visit, amazingly :). i tell her it's because bastet knows where to send them.

Yuuup, I ended up stealing my dog. His past owner was abusive and I had no intentions on getting a dog. Then when i saw my boys face, I knew I couldn't let him go back. Now I have a 102 pound pitbull I fight over a bed with.. Spoiler.. I never win the bed

Gypsy Rose dogs choose there owners and owners choose them like my dogs they walked up to me at the shelter and we were looking at an old dog but came home with two three month old puppy’s :)

P T Yeah she doesn’t come off as the sharpest tool in the shed. And she uses those video filter things that kids use to put a imagimary dog’s ears and nose on her, which show she is rather stunted maturity wise. She definitely seems like someone who has relied on her looks to get by and plays up the airheaded little girl routine. I always just feel embarrassed for chicks like this.

Sometimes whenyou see a dog and try to give it water, or food it may throw it up. The dog may be too tired and trying to feed it may make the dog sick. Its bestbto let it calm down and then slowly feed it small portions so see if it can eat and drink properly

I found a dog roaming the neighborhood. A little dachshund, he was not chipped. Anytime you opened the door he was gone. I was looking for him once and came across his previous owner. She told me how he was a runner and that he had several owners and had run away from each home. I did end of finding him and getting him chipped. My friend wanted him so bad he was an awesome dog. She had a fenced property that was huge. He stopped running away, not because of the fence, but because he fell in love with her other dog. So in the end it turned out great for him.

registering a dog is government bullshit. makes trouble for the owners. homeowners insurance also goes way up if you have a registered dog. (not just a pitbull). it's ridiculous that some places will fine you for not doing it. again, government bullSHIT. but if you mean microchipped thats different. a good collar and a tag with their name and your phone number works great too. I got my dog back a few times because of a tag. she was a problem child at first. lol but she finally lost interest in wandering off.

I love this story and this couple who are so chill and loving!

You've given this dog a safe, happy, home. But he is gona give back so much more. ❤️

I think any pit that jumps in a strange car isn't a viscous pup, just lonely.

He's probably been walking for miles, starving with no food and water. I can imagine him being scared and trying to avoid fights with other animals. He saw his chance and took it!

That's how we've found all our animals. Theres a saying in my family "we dont choose our animals, they find us." Lol

Humans are not the only ones who can choose to adopt. There are so many great stories out there of dogs, cats, even wildlife, that meet and bond with humans in a heartbeat.

Doggo says " excuse me ladies I am finding myself a new good Home,look at me I am nice looking ,have awesome slobber skills,and am major lovable so how about it?

Buddy's reaction to seeing her at the shelter tells you everything =)

So many dogs in that shelter, poor things...

Yeah, really made me sad. Wish all of them would find a great home like buddy.

This couple is wonderful...they kept Buddy and fell in love....and the truck occupation is too, too cute Buddy knew wht her wanted all along.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this story! 🤣🤣 He jumped in to your truck and just moved right in to your hearts!!

Thats how i found my luv bug pittie Fannin, bought a new car and it broke down in a bad part of Atlanta, saw a puppy pit living in the dumpster next to a gas station i rolled into and when i called her she hopped right in the car, been happy ever since and cant believe it happened.

The dog is so super chill in the car.. he is like ok you are my family now.. I choose you both

Buddy was like: “I’m gonna make you love me. You both are mines now!” LOL!!!

My Shih Tzu found me in a similar way! She gave me 10 of the best years of my life 😁

When a dog chooses you like that it's a gift from God and you're blessed.

So grateful your Hearts were Opened to receive the Gift of Buddy into your Lives🙏🎁💕🌈

eye rule like seriously... there’s someone who would walk in that shelter and make there tails shake I’m 95% percent sure... witch is completely heartbreaking.

The shelters in the Houston area have been over run since the last floods there. That's why I always say it's better to adopt than to buy your pets. Please donate to your nearest no kill shelters. It takes alot to run these shelters so anything counts. ❤️

They are the MOST AMAZING DOGS THEY JUST WANT TO BE LOVED Thank You for saving him, he's BEAUTIFUL, I lost mine 5 years ago and it KILLED ME to the point where I still have not gotten another one yet , I LOVED HER SO MUCH I don't know if I can go through losing another sweet Pit baby

He knows he will be loved..thank You for careing..

He found you, then you found him! Snuggle, love him, cuddle. Never let him be without you!
