People really need to begin dating with a purpouse, my wife & I literally met & were married within a year.....While I don't think that works for everyone. If you're over 25 & have already decided to shack up in my opinion you should marry instead of dating for 10,15, or 20 years, because you often end up having 3 kids, 2, cars, 4dogs, and a house while simply being a girl/ boyfriend

Hell I wasn’t ready to settle down either. I was 22 when I met my husband, I’m 34 and he has almost 6 years on me. I’m honestly happy that we took our time and walked our journey the way it was intended to be walked. People have to learn to do what works for them, instead of judging other people’s choices. This 1hr video only gives a glimpse into our 12 years together, which has dealt with heartache from both ends but more that anything it’s filled with a lot of LOVE! ❤️

As someone who is open to dating men with children, this is so right on time for me and provides great insight when navigating through these situations. If anything, has helped reassure me that a man with kids shouldn’t always be written off. But that dating longer than a year and no ring really not my ministry I’m sorry 😭

Im glad this narrative is changing and black women are demanding marriage sooner than to be "vetted" while already being a wife. This is not the norm and a woman really risks way too much. A woman with children vs a mam with children has a very different perception. Men fair much better. Im very glad it worked out for them. As I get older I now really see the Biblical marriage as protection. You should already be of a mind for marriage before procreation to avoid so many heartbreaks. Families r ripped apart because we don't keep God first. Im excited to see more black love where marriage is happening. I really feel like its gonna heal our community ❤

I admire this man and his wife. Lately the guests have been men of value. And it’s inspiring. For a minute this generation of men were giving off weakness (little to no restraint/disciple), fear (scared of women and commitment) and closeted homosexuality (constant belittling and seeing little to no value in women).

  • @Trombonegoddess86

Just because a woman is a stay at home wife/mom, it does not mean she gave up dreams or has no aspirations. It means our main focus is taking care of the home, so we can do what we want within that, but if it starts to affect the family, we’ll scale back or even drop it because our first priority is to our home. I’ve been home since 2015. Before I had children, I was studying to be a Physician’s Assistant. After children, I decided to stay home. I already have the medical knowledge though, while I’m homeschooling my children, I can teach them about the human body since that was my focus. I have a special needs sister that lives with me, and I care for her as well. My schooling, while I’m not making a salary from it, helps me in caring for my sister. I don’t freak out over certain things because I understand how the human body works. If a woman doesn’t care to be at home, that’s fine. We have those choices these days. But it does not mean those who do stay home don’t have knowledge or aspirations.

Person that brings a child sacrifices her health big time or even life at some instances, depending on how dramatic it all goes. Putting aside her job, her friends, every moment of her time she steps aside to make others satisfied (even your meals comes in breaks 😅). And life happens aside of that, it strikes double in periods around pregnancy. Large respect to mothers

I dnt believe pressure is always a bad thing. Especially if it’s something you wanna truly achieve in life. College, start a business, buying a home, those things would be considered high pressure situations. If you’re a marriage minded woman you should apply pressure on that man to marry you. 6-12 months to be exact. Beauty and fertility can only go on for so long. She should wanna get out the game quicker with her prime still in tact and she’ll have less traumas to deal with.

The best advice I can offer is to marry someone after you have experienced a major challenge together. He or she needs to lose his job or there needs to be some family or health struggles and witness how they navigate that. That actually is what makes and breaks marriage- when one person doesn't know how to deal with challenges and destroys their relationship because they don't want to appear weak or in need. It's also a sign of mental illness. #supportmentalhealthawareness

No, sir, they had multiple wives, but sin took place when having all those wives within the family, for example, favoritism, jealousy towards their brother, etc. So before we say God condone it, let's know the truth! Cause it is the truth that will make up FREE!!!!!

@@daniciahumphrey8155 no one here said that God condoned it. I see now that my comment wasn’t very clear. Because some men had multiple wives in the Bible, people can confuse that to think that meant God condones it. They forget that while the Bible gives us specific guidelines to live our lives as Christians, it also tells us stories of what was happening at the time. People were fornicating, marrying multiple wives, worshipping idols, etc. Just because it’s in the Bible, that doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to do. And that’s why it’s important for people to read the Bible themselves and with context.

They should all live in the same house. To complicated and you only have one life. Especially, when both parents are active and want to be involved in the children’s life. I don’t get involved with that. Now if either parent is dead ☠️ or never involved then it’s a possibility to marry a person with children. Greatest decision I made was not being with a woman who had children that I cared about. Way to much drama with her baby daddy. I have my own wife and children clean slate. I don’t have to add additional work to my life.
