My ex-husband only went to therapy because I asked and then sat there quietly and without any emotion every session. He had no desire to change or improve. She's a blessed woman. This episode just might save many marriages/relationships.

Mmm it's funny, cause we still live in a world where a man has to build himself up to get the girl, look appealing be appealing in everyway and once the woman is secured, he maintains to keep up his lady. Yet the woman forgets her monogamous role in saying I'll be everything you need me to be wanting monogamy, yet there are so many excuses given by woman as to why a woman won't fulfill her own part that she asked for in the relationship, now you spawn a generation of unhappy men still faithful to woman, and woman still want more dispite the unhappiness of the man you sitting next to. How much more needs to be given for woman to take accountability and realize it's not always about them, you also have needs to your man that need to be met, it doesn't work one way.

This is one example of why the "you can only divorce if they cheat or hit you" doctrine is false. Because there are many husbands who will never hit you or cheat on you, but they are CRUEL to you. They talk mean to you, LOOK at you with disdain, purposely withhold intimacy from you...

That sounds terrible, may God bless you. In the 50's, I thought by now from past relationships you'd have set boundaries, big difference between needs & wants. So quick to divorce after 2 months, there was a reason he was single & I don't know you but it seems you were way to avaliable for him. You wanted him more than he wanted you & the best thing is hopefully you can find that real love & have someone appreciate you.

If you went through with the divorce I pray for your healing which can only come through complete separation from him. No contact as hard as it is. That's the only way to heal out what you'll keep the wound open. If you didn't divorce I hope you found a good therapist and or coach. God Bless you

Many of us are in need of a hug and think they need sex. I hope we have not missed the point, you can both want sex,etc 100% the same but everything can change. Any brother attempting to watch this, please feel free to watch it ALLLL the way through. We need our black Kings to stand in their calling and be the head and the leader for us black women ❤🙏🏽👏🏼 It's also a great watch for us women as well 👍🏽

This goes both ways, because as a woman I identify more with the pain of a sexless marriage than I do with the idea of “going through something” and therefore don’t want to have sex. The rejection and pain, loneliness, and insecurity that it gives me really feels unbearable most of the time. I know I’m not the only woman out there that experiences this but damn it hurts to not have a solution or at least to not see what the solution may be smh

This was an amazing conversation. I appreciate it. As a divorce’, listening to Jeremy talk allowed me to see my husband didn’t fight for us or me within our marriage even after I offered therapy for us. To always hit hit with a nope I’m not doing it or I can do it when I’m ready ( which never came to pass) let me see he didn’t want to work and I felt as though he expected I was suppose to “know” what do to as a 1st time wife and him as a 3rd time married person i wanted some guidance, but didn’t get it only the were not compatible line (which I felt was a cop out). Praise GOD for Mr. Ross and Mr Jeremy as they tell it raw and uncut. Keep doing the great works. We need it.

Ok, I loved this episode. It's my 1st time listening to yall. One thing I wanted to address was that I was a broken 💔 female without knowing my worth. Therefore, I tragically became very promiscuous in my past. Having several of Sexual partners than my husband being a virgin and raised in the church. My testimony 🙌 🙏🏽 that God has then shown me my worth and I live faithfully committed to my husband ❤️ We are turning 16 years 🎉🎉🎉🎉soon. I can also attest I only experienced my 1st Orgasm with my husband and never with any of those partners from my past. It's true my husband makes love all day to me through text, chat, and my mind before we hit the bed. As a matter of fact 💯 he is My King and I his Queen. From the bedroom to our throne!!! Thank you for sharing this podcast with these 2 godly brothers 🙏🏽 and for keeping it real!

As an MD & coach, there is a rare subpop made of females with a high libido, where the sex issue is 'reversed' if you will. It's not the husband wanting more sex but the wife. It'd be interesting to hear a Pod covering such a rare yet existing population, which yields a whole other level of relationship issues. AND this Pod was excellent!!

Now that I’m wiser than before, speaking tiur partner’s love language is super powerful. It’s mostly about communication, and comprehending that communication. Speak the love language, learn the body language, comprehend that and know how to correctly respond. That’s power! ❤

This reminded me of what the Quiet Storm truly used to do for relationships back in the 90's. The Men were intentional about the songs they'd select for their Woman to hear knowing they were getting to her mentally. The "carefulness" carried soooo much energy. The ability to learn, and grow with your Man (I'm a woman) who took the time to learn his woman is part of the healthy sex for sure! I enjoyed this episode, greatly! 😇🙏🏾🙏🏾💙

Wonderfully said !!!!! To hear this coming from men is so breathtaking .I believe some men are scared to allow themselves to be vulnerable because they don’t believe its “Manly “ but in reality it’s showing your strengths in ways that’s top tier . Communication is key in a union ship but UNDERSTANDING what is being said is so much more important. When you love someone you will literally do any and everything for that person to make sure they feel safe , comfortable and happy . It’s a two way street we have to make each other feel that way .

As a single blk woman witnessing the negativity surrounding our community amongst our men & women in relationship dynamics, it's reassuring to see strong black men taking ownership of themselves and how you govern yourselves in relationships with women. It's much needed for" US" to heal the matters of the heart. Our community is hurting spiritually and emotionally. In that, we can't grow in partnership. This is my first time viewing this podcast. This was a fascinating dialogue. I’m 53, married for 29 years. What’s evident to me is that our culture is broken. The baton pass from generation to generation to inform and teach what true relationship and marriage is and how to authentically attain it has been dropped. This platform, watching this conversation, the state of my own marriage and the struggles that I see in my family and among my children confirms this. I hope that what I’m seeing is the beginning of transformation and not a new form of entertainment.
