OMG that is such a wild collaboration, I've been following his channel for a long time and you two are honestly the best tennis-related KZread channels atm. So happy about this decision and I hope you two will achieve great results together, really excited to see how the journey unfolds.

@@tennisbrothers You are both at the same level probably and in every aspect, technical, as businessmen and men. Brilliant idea to join forces!!! 1 + 1 = 3
I really like the thing that your coach said about early prep on the forehand and backhand. Richard Williams taught the same thing to Venus and Serena and I think they turned out alright 😂. I feel like so many players are late with their take back when it is something that is easily fixable.

Have to agree with you roter13. The coach is really reading Felix's game well. Picking out the weak points, making small adjustments. The groundstrokes, particularly the backhand, look a lot more ferocious in this video than in previous matches that he lost narrowly. Going to be a good year for Felix 2023 I think.

Amazing tip coach! I’m a coach here in San Francisco, and I would like to add a small tip. When you make Felix do a early prep have him do a hard pivot with his lower body and transfer literally all his weight to the right leg/side. I see he turns his torso correctly, but not his hips. Coach, I really enjoy what you said at 2:00-2:14. For everyone trying to understand he means make contact like you have the length of Yao Ming! Imagine putting a giant grapefruit between your armpit for your FH. You’ll have much more space and length towards contact. Your solid Coach and happy to see what you guys will create. Best of luck. 🙏🏾

That very early prep always felt unnatural to me, makes moving cumbersome, especially on the smash.

Richard really was a revolutionary coach. His ideas were so ahead of his time. Honestly a lot of his techniques are seen today in the men’s tour.
Excited for our journey ahead!! 🤜🤛

Wow Felix, watching your progression is exciting like a real time documentary. Really like seeing how serious you take your newly found pro tennis life and even how dedicated you were just as a high level athlete. Also as a bonus, your game looks very satisfying to watch for me. All around good stuff on the channel and loving the videos.

Just absolutely love the series and the journey! 🔥
Oh, you two look like you are gonna get along very nicely! Can't wait to see how you do out there on the pro tour!
Great choice of coach Felix! Been following Ashley's channel for a while. You are definitely in good hands with him👍 Also you're hitting a really heavy ball which you dont really see from your match play videos due to the camera angle/distance from the court. I cant wait to see your progress with Ash as your coach!👍
having a coach like this will improve your game really fast! your already hitting with so much more power! can’t wait to see your next steps :)
Good Job! And great Coach selection. Have fun and great time. And also much luck for the draws for your Tournamens and enjoy your journey. Love you Guys

Watching you grow since last year has been such an incredible feat. I'm telling you that you're growth is still uncapped. Looking forward to you playing as a pro!
Congrats 🎉 the way you are playing now seems a bit more complete and competitive. Can’t wait to see where you go in your tennis journey👏
Can't wait to see you on tour felix! Always have my eyes opened for next gen players
Probably my favourite tennis content creators now together
amazing content on the drills and serve tips, good luck on your pro career.
Felix, really good video! This coach seems to have tons of knowledge (looking it as a coach/player perspective). I’m really proud of you and the things you’ve achieved these past years. Mate I have one question… what tension are you using in your racquet? Is that explosive spin? (The strings)
Very cool to see how you used youtube as a platform to also scout for your coaching and turning this aspect of having a large following to achieve your main goal of improving at tennis. Rooting for you
I definitely watch both channels, and this coach is one of the More helpful ones I've been watching

Really liking all the tips, often easy to implement
I love this series and the video was amazing also awsome combo.
new french subscriber +1 , i like this kind of coach, very technic and talk a lot + strategy .
Really clean, hard hitting, Felix! So satisfying to watch, great job! One question: How much do you pay attention to your racquet/string setup? What string/tension are you using and racquet/balance/swingweight? Keep it up! Great things are comming your way. You deserve it.
Its all about legs, been saying it and happy your new coach spotted also!! Keep It up guys! 🙏👍
Your backhand has improved so much. Keep up the good work.
I knew it! This is going to be good 👍
Congrats Felix!

Hey Felix, love the series. I would like to see a video where you talk about your racket and specs. Static- and swingweight (where you put the led), strings etc.
Yasss breakdown and build that backhand
Seems like a great coach, congrats!
Congrats on the new Coach
Good luck. Seems like a perfect fit for you. See you on the court
Not sure if you are going to upload more coaching sessions, but I literally feel like I learned something too lol
I wanna ask you Felix, How do you feel now that you 've changed your training, learning with a coach? Do you feel like he helps you unlock some parts your game that you wanted to work on specifically? I sincerely hope that this will boost your confidence and make you stronger!🔥❤️Keep it up, MATE💯💪

Any time you make changes, they're foreign and different to what you've trained your body to do for the last few years. I would expect the muscle memory to fight you for a little while, and I always tell people to not expect miracles in short spaces of time. Managing expectations can almost be the biggest thing here.
Cool ! Good luck
I may have missed this but what brand arm sleeve are you wearing? and what benefits are you getting from it? Really loving your content. Thanks, John.

dunlop explosive bite at 51lbs
Also, nice hitting! There seems to be more power in your forehand that seems second nature now. Before, the forehand was good but lacked some pace and depth at times. However, just your practice shots show the relaxed power you have and it looks like some top 250 ATP level stuff
Great idea, also for the viewers as we’ll get both the coach and the player perspective. Just a curiosity, has Ashley ever trained an ATP professional player?

Yes he trained a few Junior Wimbledon Players and was involved in pro training before he took a break to build his academy.
Hopefully do a video on the smart court with analytics!
Love you videos
I have a injury now I can’t play for like 5 weeks but if I watch you I just learn
On the serve, use ur left arm against ur chest as u reach up to contact. Right now it looks like u windmill the left arm. Under stress it drags ur body downwards, especially on the 2nd serve. U wanna be making contact on the way up on ur 2nd serve but if u windmill ur left arm that upward motion is truncated… start hitting a few short or into the net on 2nd serves and that serve will get slower and slower. “ Ur only as good as ur 2nd serve “
I’ve seen him on KZread the video where he shows how to slide on clay
W great vid as always

Ashley is gold 👍
Lol, you have a magic taste using dropshots. Furthermore, it's really important and useful on clay courts. Waiting your next videos!
Whats your perception on your game plan on these courts versus clay? Play more aggresive? I know it is training but looking forward how you adept your mind into surface change.

How much does your racket weigh? It looks like you need to add more power to your shots if you want to be at a atp standard.
How did you get to this level. Did you go to a tennis school/University. Any tips also I love your videos felix
I just saw that you were an alternate for your upcoming Futures tournament in Greece, what does that mean?
Most of the courts in Europe are Clay. What Kind of Court is this in the Video?

@@tennisbrothers Still looks the same. Those courts used to be synthetic grass not clay (and I think hard court before that).
Felix, it makes sense to choose a local coach. You will not longer have to film your own matches. 🙂How do you rate the experience at MTA but I would like you honest opionion? On a scale from 1 to 10 how would you rate them?
