Unlucky Felix but keep going. Just learn from your losses and you'll figure it out and get in a big run soon. You are at that futures level now, you've just got to get some confidence and get on a run soon. Goodluck for your next event💪👍

Great play, Felix! There were some super rallies, combinations, shots, excellent serves, the lot. The first set is a promise of things to come. Thought: I'm sure you and your coach have discussed the psychology of closing out sets. You were just as good as your opponent. Go and win a few matches outside your big matches, play lesser players to give you that feeling of winning, It is as important to build up that confidence as is all the other prep you do. Heyyy felix!! Dudee you are great!! I know you are gonna get that point sooner rather than later man! I think you can improve your kick serve by turning hips and back agains the court before you make contact with the ball… kinda similar to what McEnroe used to do…. Imo kick serve is very important specially on clay, Cheers mate!

Your retrieving is excellent, getting it back in some really difficult spots for your opponent there, bh still a bit down the middle. You know I have observed over the past 20 years Murray's highly underappreciated bh slice recovery, the ball is well past him and he gets it back, not only save the point but to put his opponent in trouble, that's his big secret, don't you think? enjoying your vids

Good job Felix (this loss is gonna shake away very soon) and thanks for the content you bring! I just wanted to ask why you do not make much use of the drop shot after a good attack? Yeah, I noticed in the previous 1st round tourney you had the same issue -- some players go to a psychologist, but I suppose a good trip to the mountains or a harsh reality check could help too -- keep your mind on being happy to have what you already have, and even the chance itself to be in the position for a qualification in those tournaments versus experienced players. Keep it up man!

That volley in the net at 4:5 40/30... Understandably difficult to get over. Still, a good first set. Now you know how much upside there is on your serve. Also, some of the backhand slice defense was undecided and floated 3~6 foot above the net; you should practice that situation to be able to make either real good defensive lobs or a *low* floater that drops behind the net, preferably in the center because your goal is to have recovery time and pass next shot, not that shot.
Hi Felix, been watching every video of yours. I think you had chances here but there's things you can improve, as your groundstrokes look quite easy to read, giving your opponent time to get in position, and your precision / hitting too many balls into the centre of the court could be improved. Just my two cents! I think you have a really strong game though. Rooting for you all the way :)

Great fight Felix! Was rooting for you to come back in the 2nd! You are much better than me, but one thing that has helped me mentally reset is just saying out loud. "Next point", it helps me focus on the present and forget the past. Also, I'm sure your coach has told you, but standing further back on returns, so you can gain a couple of seconds. Sorry, I don't want to be a keyboard warrior. Just some things I've learned that could help others in the intermediate level. So fun to watch these matches and keep it up. Nice to see the Progress ^.^ At least from what I'm seeing, your Serve & Volley tactics (1-2 punch) remind me a bit of Pete Sampras and your Baseline game somewhat reminds me of Alcaraz (mainly from the strong Forehand and great drops you hit). I'm a but out of touch with what the current "Meta" is for Tennis (I'm seeing a lot of counterpunching and baseline fights nowadays); but maybe look up some of Alacaraz's more recent matches as well as Pete Sampras' highlights? There might be some golden tactics you could take/sample and work into your game plan. Sorry I can't really offer much more than that and to keep on fighting 🙏

Your opponent is playing Tennis Bundesliga (Tennis Premiere League) for "Rochusclub Düsseldorf". That is pretty damn solid. You should try and get paid to do that too. I saw Nadal when he was 16 playing for "BW Neuss" in the league. He deleted everyone and was gone after one season to play on tour. Botic van de Zandschulp was playing for "Neuss" last season. Don't know if he will do that this season again. You are not quiet that level yet but thats a great way to play against good people and infront of a bigger crowd. Pretty sure teams would like to have a guy with a big following in their lineup.
