Player vs Coach Serve Battle #tennis
With Felix back home for a training block, things always get a little competitive 😅 In this session he challenged me to a serve accuracy battle… high stakes with 30 push ups on the line!

You guys were hitting some big serves there. The spin and action you guys were getting was hugely impressive. And Felix's serve has beefed up a lot this year. His first serve must be in the 110mph to 115+mph range now. Great video guys👍

I recently saw video which had "never double fault ever again" in its title. This is certainly more real. Lots of misses. I'd like to see four foot squares in a 1,2,3 where they have to call out the square they'll hit, or better yet, specific sequences. Hits = 1 point, misses = -1. Play to 20.

Some really good movement on the early serves guys! Really every second or third Serve should hit a cone! Long way to go, but liking the slice technique. As for the Kick Serve well it’s a different action & not at the same level as your slice! Anyway! I like your Coach- Pupil dynamic, so you are in good Hands 🙌 If you want to Make it on the ATP tour you’ll need to develop an edge, something that is serious. As a Brit it is tougher to harness that compared to some other Countries where life could be tougher growing up, however it can be done. Wish you all the Best

Felix has already won ATP doubles points and has held his own in practice sets against top 100 singles players. He absolutely has the skill and talent to compete in Futures and Challenger events, he just needs to build consistency and to hone his weapons. I don't think we're ever going to see him at the French Open semis or anything but he's absolutely an elite player.

@@LunarEclipsism1 Andres Gomez were at the semis when he was 30, and that age was considered old in the 80-90 ties. Never say never. Nowadays the fittnes level is superb from the players. Its a mind-game also..who wants it most and who can handle rejections and bad matches mentaly. Its building your own game strategy, based on meeting many opponents playing differently. Taking their weaknesses and putting that into play, when the next same opponent, or same style of player comes along. Felix first serve down the line / slice is superb.
