Fun fact: the original doom 2 super shotgun was also a 10 gauge. Scott owns a lore-accurate doom weapon. edit: nvm its 12 gauge, doom 2016 one is 10 gauge tho edit 2: to clarify something, the doom eternal super shotgun was a custom caliber, on etsy is a 1 to 1 replica of the shell, much bigger than 10 gauge edit 3: if the google result which says that it was 12 gauge is wrong, it could have been 10 gauge, since the uac might have had a limited run of the super shotguns before they started handing them out before the events of doom 2016, with the 2016 super shotgun being a 10 gauge its not far off to believe that the og was also 10 gauge, just an improved model i suppose?

I was having the worst day when I got home. Was so depressed and just down about life in general. Work stress, home stress and just an overwhelming feeling that nothing was still good. Then I saw the intro to this video and just laughed for the first time all day. Thank you for that. It made my entire mood change and I was finally able to relax and remember that everything was going to be ok. These intros are amazing and I love them.

The Chip O Matic 5K! Great for fruits, vegetables, and pedos!
Nice reference here. There were usually two people on the driver’s seat on stage coaches. The driver, and the guy with the shotgun. Hence the tradition of calling “shotgun.” Coach guns were usually double barrel, shortened for a wide spread, and the largest caliber you could get. That’s a nice piece you got there.
Now when Scott is asked about recoil, "Once you go 4 bore, you never go back!" ;) Hey, that can be a new t-shirt slogan?!

LOVE me a side by side! And the ten gauge wasn't all that rare in the late 1800s. They were more popular than most people believe, and Doc Holliday used one at the OK Corral. Thanks for the video, Scott!
@twistedyogert
Жыл бұрын
That makes sense. From what I've read, the 10gauge was more common back then because black-powder is a lot less energetic than modern propellants. The bigger shells could hold more gunpowder and thus you could get more range then you could get from the 12.

I so much love the enthusiasm you have for great guns! Keep those videos coming! See you in the next one!
Wonderful demonstration of mechanical delay and recoil. Both of your last shots had the second barrel slightly delayed and slightly higher than the first barrel. The second barrel of buckshot completely missed the zombie head, even though it was only a fraction of a second behind the first blast.
I’ve always wanted to say this: I’m not a “gun guy” or anything like that. I suspect I’m not the usual member of Scott’s demographic in many ways, but I got interested in firearms videos about a year ago and found his channel shortly after. He’s an undeniable entertainer, a seemingly authentically fun guy. I always have fun watching his videos. The Fargoing of the Furby was hilarious. I've been subbed forever and I expect that kind of humor, especially when a wood chipper is introduced as show tool. And that slo-mo of the tartar sauce getting hit was fantastic. There was this spherical blob that slowly arced its way towards center frame getting closer and closer until it dropped under the camera. I love footage like that. Cool gun, Scott! Hope your shoulder heals up over the weekend ; ) Have a goody, Brother!
Good personality, fun to watch,I'm digging it
Scott, see if you can find one of those Russian 12 Gauge Revolvers, that would be cool. Also, the Charles Daly Honcho Triple Threat is interesting...
I really just loved how you kept coming with more interesting things to shoot. It felt well planned and like you really wanted to fit as much goodness into a short period of time as possible.
Scott is a pretty dangerous man, he has two guns bigger than a 50 BMG on him at all times 💪
Shooting at the Chevy! Awesome addition! Also that soda wall explosion Very Nice! Even the Chip-O-Matic returns!
Reminds me of the fun my best buddy and I used to have in a caliche pit in West Texas back in the '60s. We each bought a Mosin Nagant surplus army rifle at a Lubbock dept store and rocked the house. The store was selling a barrel of those bad boys for $11.00 apiece. The ammo cost more than the rifle.
10 gauge is one of those cartridges that I want to get a mag fed shotgun for. That is a lot of lead going down range very quickly.

Scott found the brother of the Doom Super Shotgun. Absolutely beautiful rifle. Awesome that you can shoot both barrels at the same time. And let's be honest, the Furby deserved it, no matter what. The stretch Armstrong, thrown into the chipper was also a great view. Greetings from Germany.
This whole video had me smiling from start to finish. Audibly cheered at the furby part. haha

Scott, you used the glue again! Awesome! Once you said you were using slugs, I _knew_ we'd get a good shot of the sheer energy output from something with that kind of fluid viscosity. Those 10g slugs were no joke! A great contrast with that jug of slime, too! You're like a kid in art class, except you use high-energy projectiles.
