True, he himself said it perfectly, the ones who hates him have been hating him since his time in WWE but its also true most of his fans were tired cuz of his AEW controversy and never wanted to listen to him but now that we get the picture that was actually the AEW management problem, he was targeted by the elite and also caught in the crossfire in the whole Jack Perry situation. You can see in the whole interview that all punk wanted was a peaceful workplace and share his experience and expertise but he landed on the wrong platform. I'm so glad he's in WWE now and just enjoying the ride.

Colt Cabana was already off of AEW TV by the time that Punk signed a contract. I used to watch AEW Dark on KZread and that was Colt's home for a very long time. Tony decided that the best use for Colt was walking the Dark Order down the ramp on at house shows. Punk had nothing to do with that. Dave Meltzer made up the Colt Cabana story to help the Elite.

Honestly, the people who tried to Believe the Elite side of things tend to forget how genuinely childish the Elite were in Ring of Honor, they are attention seekers and will do anything if it means getting their name up there, and one more thing. They may say they don't care about Punk leaving because they had a Match with Sting. The same match where Darby tried to game end himself and caused massive issue with a glass spot.

From this interview, the one Santana did for Chris Van Vleet and what many people that worked there have been saying, it's becoming appareny that Tony Khan isn't a boss, many people in AEW don't act like professionals, it's booked for Meltzet, Tony is a money mark, the Elite are big marks for themselves, there's a lot of amateurism...in a nutshell they are the biggest independent promotion but still an Indy for better or for worse, and they just have a richer owner who can afford bigger names. I hope TK turns things around and starts listening to the people around him who know more than him about the wrestling business. Otherwise I see a dark future for the promotion.

What I never understood was why some of the people think cm punk got all this hype and all just because of that pipe bomb and anyone can become a big superstar just by doing that. No you can't, the work he constantly did over the years before that moment is what made that pipe bomb relevant and that's why everyone wanted cm punk back in pro wrestling, at his prime he had great wrestling matches with great mic work , he's title reign was not legendary but among the greatest ever ( at least top 6 ). So, any company just can't treat one of the greats of the industry just like a rookie.
