The bug has been submitted to the developers... but that didn't save my city from having a 10-mile, 154 semi truck traffic jam.... :(

    been binging your stuff after finding the channel, really enjoyable :) Also yeah it seems like City Skylines 2 is pretty buggy rn, hopefully they make a bit of a comeback and get their things together.

    Man I've been sick the last few days and binging your channel has been so relaxing. I was watching Real Civil Engineer play Mini Motorways and wanted to see someone actually be good at the game, and that's how I found your channel. It's been lots of fun going through your content, and I can't wait to see more!

    One thing that I've found helps a bit with service expenses, is exporting things. Like, having an abundance of electricity, and then just selling it. You can also do the same with water, but that requires you to have tiles to the end of the plot... Also, in my save, I've set up a couple of bus lines that go to outside of the city as well, and that seems to be a good thing? Setting up a bus line to the outside world does at least not require you to have all the tiles (just enough buses)

    Could the traffic fiasco have been caused in some way by the zoning that you did? Or by not allowing heavy traffic in town? (don't remember if you did that before or after)

    Now that's a possibility! Maybe if a truck is barred from reaching its original destination because of zoning, it goes to a specified alternative. If all of my industry got denied because of zoning, all of them re-routing to the one lumber mill makes a reasonable amount of sense!

    Precisely! And specifically in combination with not allowing heavy traffic in town - if all lumber mills *were* in the correct zone, which I'm guessing is probably the case, but all but one were only reachable by taking town roads, which were then forbidden for heavy traffic, then they wouldn't be able to reach those.

    Not really a bug, just silly. The lumber yard had a storage capacity of 864. It held 151 when you bulldozed it. Once it reaches capacity I bet it'll slow down a lot and only refill what is used. The three trucks was for supplying the surrounding industries. So, yeah, maybe they should cap how quickly it fills when it's built, but it does need to be filled.

    It was actually filled! The lumber was being processed as fast as it came in, as if it saw that another truck was coming so it had to make more room. Like I mentioned, it was 10 minutes of a truck every 5 seconds, it was most certainly filled to the brim and then some.

    that is not a BUG, that is what happens, if made exit from freeway exact to industrial area with no gap between lol. very bad planning design

    70 trucks all going to the same location that has a capacity of 4 trucks isn't a bug? It's not that the trucks were waiting to go past that one industrial zone, it's that they ALL wanted to go to the same location.

    ​@@Retroflux first at all let's look at you exit to industril - it's upset. actualy all of your interchanges are trash-build. sry but this is it. Imao you don't understand how the trafic flow is workind as in real life and as in game. simple example - kzread.info/dash/bejne/fJNmysaAYJnLgJs.html don't you recognaze all of those lanes at left roundabout are not working at all? and mate I don't mean that the game trafic logic working good enought for now but there is some ways that can fix inner broken trafic logic. my citie of more than 100k have no thet problems at exits from freeways, only at approches to cargo stations (rail or ships no mater) and this is real "bug" with cargos in game. (at least it was 2 month ago) and fellows for God's sake, stop putting roundabouts everywhere. It's a good solution for only certain traffic flow rate and no so much actulaly, for all other cases we must splits flows, gives them more exit buffer and gives them more variants to enter the destination location
