She may be small, but her impact on hearts is monumental because she defies expectations with every adorable step.
Her story began when Katie, Fig's future mom, decided to adopt two kittens from a local animal shelter.
Little did she know that Fig's journey would be unique and filled with challenges.
The unexpected twist in their story came when a call from the Cat Protection Charity revealed that Fig wasn't growing as expected.
In most cases, taking just one kitten might have been the easier choice, but Katie's heart was already smitten with both Fig and her brother, Dante.

If people could breed them to be kittens forever they would; but like munchkins they come with a lot of complications and shouldn't be allowed to be purposely bred to be honest.

Without the arthritis. Its horrible for cats. My 16 year old has it and its sad watching her decline every year. When she used to jump to the top of doorways she now wont jump no higher than a couch seat.

This makes me miss my kitty, Simba. She had dwarfism as well. She was tiny but fierce! She only lived 2 years and weighed two pounds when she passed.

I have a 13 years old female miniature tuxedo cat also. She was found as a 6-8 weeks old kitten outside of an Olive Garden restaurant alone and needing help. She loves attention, but not fond of being picked up and being held. Olivia is an indoor-only kitty. BTW, she has double front paws.

She’s adorable!! I had a mini-Persian. She had my heart from the get go. We lost her at 9 1/2 yrs old due to IVS. Idiopathic Vestibular Syndrome. I adored her and even though she was a birthday gift for me, she fell for my husband!! The only man she ever liked! She still loved me, but he became her human and I loved it. Good luck with your little cutie. I hope she lives a long (and seemingly very happy) life. 💜💜❤️❤️

Oh wow! She’s beautiful! She’s unquestionably the boss, a mighty hunter and a mommy’s girl! Go girl!. I had a kitten like her they told me she was the runt of the litter, let her die….I told the vet what to do with that idea! And after changing vets she was my fur baby😊 she crossed the rainbow bridge at 19 years old!. I still miss my her so much. But I now have another rescue cat a naughty tortie! . Spoilt beyond belief and living her best life and making me happy every day 😊

Your two cats are beautiful. I had a cat like Fig. She always stayed little but was happy and healthy. Her name was Rachel and she lived to be 22. We all loved her and were heartbroken when she left us. She is buried in our backyard beside our 2 hamsters. I wish your cats long happy and healthy lives.

Thank you so very much,Ticket was beautiful and so funny.Miss him so much..We had him almost 5 years. A blood clot on his brain travelled down his spine and paralysed his back legs.He was taken within an hour.
"Assisi Loop"! This should be recommended by every vet for cats - and other animals - with conditions such as this! I don't know if this sweet kitty's mom will see this comment, but if so I sincerely hope this helps. The famous kitty "Lil Bub" was able to live better and longer thanks in part to the Assisi Loop despite having a severe form of feline dwarfism.
Now that's a determined kitty.
