Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
In today's video, Chase gets behind the handlebars of Yamaha's all-new 2024 Tracer 9 GT+ during its exclusive press reveal. Having spent countless hours on its predecessor, many of the updates on this model appear to directly address Chase's earlier wishes. But does this new Tracer 9 GT+ truly elevate the riding experience to the next level?

I am glad you were able to have a taste of the great roads (and trails) in Idaho! We like it when people are surprised here.

Yea Boise was awesome!
The adaptive cruise control with quick sifter sounds amazing! There's plenty of elevation changes in VA with busy traffic & being able to downshift to pass without dealing with throttle & resetting the cruise sounds sweet 😊
Very good and detailed review. I really enjoed your feelings and thoughts from a common rider. Cheers from Rome Italy 🙂
Bogus Basin Road (mountain road) was resurfaced about a year and 1/2 ago. It was unrideable for a while, I waited for all the cars and trucks to smash down all the gravel that needed to be pushed in. Also in the Treasure Valley of Boise, development is so rapid there are dirt and gravel trucks everywhere so corners there is always gravel.
I had to see this video twice. First time I was only thinking about that phone almost falling of your right pocket! 😂
Great review! If I hadn't got such a crazy good deal on a brand new 2022 T9GT that I picked up last spring I would have loved to of wait for this. That dash is so much better! either way, still loving mine!!! Best bike I've had yet.

I have over 20k miles on the current generation bike. I added an exhaust, Corbin saddle, sport screen, and had the ECU re-flashed to get all the available power in all gears. I always ride it in full power mode with all the safety nannies turned off. I've also never scraped the pegs during aggressive cornering(A-1 mode, and setting pre-load properly would have likely fixed that for Chase). I would love it if Yamaha would bring over a lower cost base model, like they have in Europe. Give me the TFT, cruise, heated grips and basic abs. Power modes, electronic suspension, TC, SC, radar or integrated braking are not really necessary in my opinion. I can't see myself up-grading to this new model just for the TFT and slightly better controls.
I got a new ‘22 for cheap last week and I love it. Your last review sold me. Thanks man!

OC I need one of these. I really wanted an XSR 900, but this would fill that same need, just with a totally different look.
I drove the 2021 model for a week in Europe with the weird display. Fenomenal bike!!! Loved it in spite of the display. I’m gonna get this new one. I wish it had Apple CarPlay like Goldwing does
congratulations on your video channel! now that you have ridden the Ducati Multistrada V2S and the Yamaha Tracer 9GT+. Which one would you choose?
I’m in the UK and I’ve owned this bike for nearly 3 weeks. In fact had its 600 mile service last week. It’s a great bike. I love the quickshifter. The handling is possibly the best I’ve ever had, apart from a KTM Superduke. Acceleration is smooth and controlled, but without the arm wrenching I get with my BMW R1250RT, though it’s much lighter of course. The radar cruise control is excellent, though of course it’s not as versatile as it is on a vehicle with an automatic gearbox (in reality, a car). Haven’t experienced the advanced braking system (fortunately). The TFT screen works well, though the Garmin based GPS is fairly basic and fiddly to set up. As a pillion machine it’s okay for shortish rides but my wife finds it nowhere as comfortable as the RT. The luggage also is okay, but panniers are a strange shape, and there’s no central locking like on the RT. Mind you, the RT costs around £6k more!
How did you like Boise? I have lived here for 23 year and think we have some of the best roads for riding and yes road conditions can be rough at best
Had a Kawasaki Concours i was wondering since the Concours have a 1400 cc motor if im going to be bore with a 900cc and if you felt the motor working hard and rev high since its a 3 cylinders compare to the inline four of the Concours on highway speed thx.
I don’t do long tours so I have no room to talk really. But the ACC on a bike isn’t a bragging right to me. My brand new Palisade has it along with many other driver aids that it becomes intrusive. All I want is the quick shifter up/down which I hear is amazing and hill hold which it doesn’t have.
bikes a low rider for sure ,I remember riding home from dealer scraping on the on ramp ,scared the crap out of me ,,,first thing I did on 2020 tracer was remove those fender finders on the bottom of the foot peg ,,makes a huge difference
Luv your videos 😮😊
This comes with bags. Did I just miss the part where you talked about that or any other cases etc available? Kinda missed the entire touring part of the sport tourer if not no?
I have tracer 9 gt 2022 and i m asking if i can change the double tft to the new one And i think yamaha did not fix bad point that they did not put light in the keys control and it bad thing in the dark

Hello! Greetings from Spain!. Do you know or somebody know if there is new information about the broken chassis that have this Tracer 9 model and MT09? I am recovering from a motorcycle accident I had on January 6 where I broke the frame, I was driving about 50kmh (31 miles) and a car skipped a stop... Ride safe guys. About the bike it's an amazing bike, good weight, sport behaviour, comfortable..
Don’t need to wish. You can adjust the foot pegs up one notch for ground clearance.
The FJ-09/Tracer 9 is such a great all arounder. If I could only have 1 bike for all purposes, this would be a top contender.

You alluded to it, but never mentioned it directly. That is the semi active suspension. Is it Front only? Can you control it independently from the engine ride modes? Would have liked to hear more about it. It's a must have for me anymore with modern bikes.

These are excellent questions that a good reviewer should address. This is virtually a commercial for Yamaha.
Did they make the tach trace because it’s a tracer? That’s pretty sick
i'm cross-shopping all the Yamaha CP3 bikes and i'd seriously get this if i didn't already have a goldwing. Looks really damn nice. Want something a bit more hooligan.
Hey Chase, thanks for the review. Maybe I missed it - what did you think of the wind protection?
I wish you would address how tall you are and how comfortable your legs were and give us an idea of how comfortable a tall or short rider would feel on this bike. I myself am 6'6" I don't know if I even fit on it.....
4:51 I use that spot for my GoPro. It's perfect if u ask me haha
*OC* They finally got rid of the Squidward gauges and have a proper TFT. I agree that this definitely fixes all of the issues I had with the previous Tracer 9 GT. So, did they fix the tiny-ass side cases? It bugged me so much how an XL full face helmet didn't fit in them! That's a deal breaker for me in a touring bike. Sucks that I'd have to go to Shad or Givi to get proper side cases...
OC, really nice bike...
Tracer GT plus or Moto Guzzi V100S?
I had the 2022 model and had to sell it after like 4 months... Great bike but I could not get comfortable on it. The seat was horrible and I could not get the bars in a good position that didn't;t have my neck in agony after an hour in the saddle. I for rid of the Tracer 9 GT and got a new ZX14R and the Ninja is WAY more comfortable for me. Weird, right?

OC I'm so torn between this and a gsxs1000 gt+
Fun fact. It’s actually the same screen as on the TMAX which came out 2/3 years ago.
I own a 2022 Tracer 9Gt & IMO this 2024 model year represents a big improvement. I am concerned that the colors all seem to be camouflaged for the road which is NOT something I like, I prefer colors that help me stand out. The radar & linked braking is great but I'd like to see Hill Assist added, too. And the screen needs to be much improved. I plan to keep my beloved "Big Red" Tracer 9gt for another 3 years & I hope to see those features added when I trade up....and, The Elephant In The Room, hopefully Yamaha N America will actually be supporting this bike by then. Right now European showrooms are full of factory accessories while over here in N America we get very little & most of what's listed is permanently "Out Of Stock". As for the observation on ground clearance & scraping pegs, maybe not going so fast into a tight corner would help....especially if you can't see where the road is going in time to react. Ride what you can see.
